Life has really been throwing some curve balls so I've been slacking horribly keeping up with pages.
However this Queen has started her senior year of high school and today had her first day co oping at the animal hospital. She has an absolute love for animals so being able to work with them is a dream spot for her especially as she anticipates becoming a Vet one day.
Have a lot of things going on but I promise as her momager I will get better at keeping up ❤️.

Stopped by the Juneteenth celebration for a little bit. I know many have controversial issues with the celebration of Juneteenth, so I urge you to research and see what happened and the conditions many worked in.
To those celebrating, liberation is something to celebrate, no matter other opinions. I can only hope it will continue to grow strength in celebrations and more people understand.

Henderson Memorial Celebration is normally an event where we break out the crowns and sashes and make a community appearance. However this year we traded the crown in for her ROTC uniform and proud ROTC mom as she had the honor of being an es**rt to place the wreath representing the Army.
This is the 76th Memorial Celebration where over 6000 crosses represent those no longer with us who served. A tradition for us is getting there to be able to thank veterans for their service and for third year get a picture with Gilmer Thomas. Gilmer is 98 years old and is the LAST living survivor from the USS Bush. He saw destiny's medals and told about some of his, one being Hiroshima.

This weekend most focus of bringing the boats out and firing up the grill, but let us remember the reason we have this long weekend. Remembering those who have fought for our freedoms and no longer walk amongst us. Whether is be a lost casualty at war who is still missing, lost life to war, or someone who gave their life to our country and has since passed. Those lives are the reason we can fire the grills up and celebrate.

Henderson KY Trifest 2023. Destiny was a good sport and complete the ten toe touches she ended up with spinning the wheel at the health booth, tried out her strength on the hammer and then won 2 goldfish. And that is was just a piece of her day.
Sometimes you leave the sash and crown behind and just get out and enjoy your community. Let the hair down and just have fun.

Destiny ended her junior year as Supply officer ranked Captain. She will begin her senior year continuing as Captain and Supply officer as well as Rifle Commander with HCHS AJROTC unit. She as well brought home awards for being on a Varsity team, Saber Guard, and two for Rifle (the medal is for state championship).
She didn't get the chance to Excel like she normally does this year with everything we've had going on, but she still done an absolutely amazing job! So very proud of her the community service she does thru the unit and the leadership she shows.

We want to apologize for not keeping up with the page here lately. Our family has been through some tramatic times and lost the head of our household. (Destiny's step father). We are working on pulling back together and getting things going. ❤️

Good fellows Christmas community service with AJROTC. This is my 3rd year doing this and I absolutely love being able to help with giving kids in our community a better Christmas. I hate missing tomorrow when we pass them out that's my favorite day but work calls.
A wonderful way to give back to your community is holiday time. Even this close to Christmas there's ways to help. Look around your community and help give a child a wonderful Christmas.

I can't be in the parade with my title. However it's for good reason, I made it to staff in ROTC this year. Being as I'm an officer I have to match with our unit. I'm still out representing me, just not the crown. Just know that being a female doesn't mean you can't achieve goals! You can do anything you set your mind to. No one would have expected me to make it as far as I have in ROTC but here I am showing I could do it. And you can to, no matter what you choose in life know that you can do it to!

Such an exciting day for me. Just got out of school and bit ago and headed to work in a few. I got the chance to see one of my favorites. Raced to her and asked for a picture and she was so sweet! I'm one of her biggest fans so she really has no idea what this picture means to me. 🥰

Tons of pictures will be coming at a later time. For now though, I went in expecting to relinquish my title, I never expected I'd be coming home as Ms. Fresh Face Universal. So very excited to continue to represent The Fresh Faces Project another year as a global queen. Meet some amazing people and am looking forward to working together.
I was also awarded the service leader award for last year and taking home another trophy and gift card. Was such a huge honor for me to get this for my rein as Miss Teen Fresh Face America! Here's to another year!

We are almost to the end of my rein as Miss Teen Fresh Face America. This weekend I will pass the torch. I've enjoyed every single second of the past year in support of the fresh faces project and the bond we've made with sister queens.
Thank you to everyone who has made this year such an amazing year, and most of all the my family at home who has supported me through out my journeys, I can't wait to see where we go next. ❤️

Today is a day Americans reflect back on as a historical event that left thousands dead in the wake of terrorist attacks. They reflect back on where they were at the exact moment this happened and each year share the story of what they remember. One of the largest historical events.
As you remember where you were and the events that unfolded that day, take a moment to look around and see where you are in life right at this moment. In seconds life can change and flip your world upside down. In seconds your life can change, use today as an opportunity to not only remember the lives lost on this tragic day, but also as a chance to evaluate your own life and how you're living it. Live each day to the fullest. Don't go to bed angry. Live each day as if it were your last. Always remember those lives lost on this tragic day, and always reflect back to your own and how you are living.

Getting some end of rein community service in, feeding the HCHS band and clean up after.

Queen Elizabeth was the face of England for the longest rein in history there. She was loved and a wonderful role model by many. Prayers go to England and the royal family as they mourn the loss of their matriarch. Today is a truly historical day and the amount of sadness will be felt world wide.

September is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month. For those who don't know or haven't heard, the big reason this page hasn't been kept up with like we have been, is our family had a tragic accident in it that left the head of our household with a SCI injury which has left him paralyzed and considered a quadrapalegic. Spinal Cord injuries aren't spoken of near enough. For many no one has any idea of what life becomes of a family who is dealing with one. It doesn't just affect the person but the entire home. There are very few hospitals or rehabilitation centers that are able to respond and help someone with many levels of SCI. There are even fewer resources for families who have been caught in the whirlwind of an injury. Many see the wheelchair and that's all they see. They don't see the literally thousands of hours of therapy, the equipment needed for home care, or the hectic days surrounding. If you know of a family who deals with this, reach out to them. Offer to cook a meal, offer to listen and be that person they can talk to, offer to help for a couple hours so they can just rest or do something for themselves. It's a life changing experience that leaves not only the person involved but the entire family grieving a life that has been lost and a fear of what the future may bring.
