Hi all! Just a note to say that I'm putting my website on pause for awhile...I have a few problems with it that I need to deal with. Also, I'm going to be away for 10 days this month. Looking forward to getting back to work on it when I return. Hope everyone is having a lovely summer! (The picture is a work in progress...)

My Willow wall hanging on a branch of Scottish driftwood that has weathered to a smooth finish. The branch is about 35cm (14") in length and the wall hanging measures about 23cm (9") wide and 68cm (27") long.

The fringe is shaggy and knotted with a contemporary seaweed-like vibe. It would be lovely in a garden room but equally as nice in any room that needs a bit of greenery.

This is my Imperial Diamond wall hanging. It features a repeating diamond pattern and beads and tassels. I used 100% recycled cotton cord in a natural colour. It measures about 33cm (13") wide by 79cm (31") long. Each tassel is 15cm (6") including the bead and the dowel measures about 46cm (18"). Available on my website https://www.knottycheryl.com

This is my workstation and I'm posting the picture because you should always have a picture in a post...am I right?
SO my website is live and it's SUPPOSED to be connected to my Facebook and Instagram pages but isn't. I'll need to figure that out. Also, it is easier to navigate on a computer/laptop than on a mobile phone. More tweaking, I guess 🙄. Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think...Thanks! https://www.knottycheryl.com

Just days away (maybe even tomorrow!) from launching www.knottycheryl.com. It has taken me much longer that I had hoped but it will be worth it! There are links for Collections (of products), there's also a Blog (with one post, so far) and an All About Knotty Cheryl profile page. This photo of a bird's nest in a tree is a teaser...find out what it is and why it's there!

Not quite ready for prime time but here's a link to my new website. I'm excited for the big reveal but until then there's an "Opening Soon" message. www.knottycheryl.com

Little 6 cm (2.25") wreaths in a variety of colours make super ornaments on a Christmas tree or they're excellent little additional gifts when you tie one on a gift package.

This is how I'm packaging my hand knotted snowflakes...I've put a bit of double stick tape on the back of each to keep it in place on the card. What do you think?

A new bauble and a new snowflake! I’m trying to replenish my stock as quickly as possible. These are so fun to make, but a bit labor-intensive. Totally worth it!

Starting to work on Christmas/Winter Holiday stuff...I'm excited! These snowflakes are just one example of the pretty holiday accessories created with macrame knots. Stay tuned!

Ruthie helping me knot a bookmark!

On another note, it's going to be awhile before my site is ready for prime time...still so much more to do and less time to do it. But I'll get there!

I'm working on some boho macrame jewellery and these necklaces are a start. Lots more designs in the work, I'm adding beads, etc....stay tuned!

I found this cute macrame skeleton on the internet and decided to give it a go...love how it turned out!

I'm back from my visit to America and I'm eager to get back in the saddle, so to speak! While in Washington state, I needed a small black purse to take to an event so I quickly ordered a few supplies, set up a knotting station using two dining room chairs and one of those things you can use to reach things in high places and went to work! Where there's a will there's a way, right?

A table runner or a buffet or coffee table runner. This one is approximately 23cm (9") wide. The knotted piece is about 100 cm (39") long and then the fringe measures about 25cm (10") from the peak and 36cm (14") at the upper edges.

I'm home from my trip to America! Loved seeing my family but it's so good to be home. I'm ready to get back to work. This was an order for a child's purse that I posted just before I left. I have sweet little note cards that I put in each parcel in case the customer needs a greeting card. And I also include a little surprise gift for the customer. This one was a bookmark.

This is fabulous!

Just a note to say that I'm traveling to the United States (Washington State) next week and will be away until 8th May. This is a shot of the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. I took this while on a trip a few years ago and I'm adding it to this post just for fun! So I won't be knotting anything while I'm away. Take care and stay safe.

This BoHo phone bag is stylish as well as really useful...I use mine for walking and I can slip a bit of cash or a credit card inside if I'm just going for a coffee and not driving. It's lightweight.

I've used 3mm soft unbleached cotton cord for this pouch and it measures approximately 18 cm (7") from top of bag to top of fringe and approximately 27 cm (11") including the fringe.

The strap length is approximately 102 cm (40"). I have an iPhone 11 and when it's in the bag, the strap drops just a tiny bit making it perfect for crossbody.

Since these are made to order I'm happy to change colours. Just message me with your choice of colour and I'll do my best to make it happen.

These adorable mini handbags are a perfect size for toddlers. They measure approximately 10 cm (4 inches) width and height. They're made with soft cotton macrame cords that are safe for little ones.

These are perfect little gifts for birthdays or holiday celebrations. I can make them in the colours shown here or in other colours, as well. Just message me with the colour you'd like and I'll do my best to make it happen.
