Buy Bust Operation

On July 20, 2024, PLT DAVES V ANASTACIO, OIC announced the arrest of a 27 years old, resident of Barangay Lintic, Banayoyo, Ilocos Sur by Santa Lucia MPS (lead unit) together with ISPIU, PDEU ISPPO and Maritime, Santa Cruz Ilocos Sur in coordination with PDEA RO1, confiscation of 0.49 grams of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Catayagan, Sta Lucia, Ilocos sur.
The two confiscated white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu weighted of MOL 0.49 grams with standard drug price of Php 3,332.00. The suspect was apprised of his constitutional rights in dialect known by him and was brought to Sta Lucia District Hospital for medical examination and now under the custody of Sta Lucia MPS for proper disposition and documentation. The said operation was recorded with the use of alternative body worn Camera in compliance to AM 21-06-08 SC (Rules on the use of Body Worn Cameras).

Public must continuously support the government’s campaign against illegal drugs and other forms of criminality.
