Don't defend your sin.
Instead, defend yourself from sin.
Run to Christ when temptation comes.
Resist the devil, and he will flee.
Why defend that which is out to kill you?
The LORD is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
So, confess your sins.
Uncover them before God.
Know that He will forgive.
He delights to do so.
Friends, this is a simple example of why theology is so important. Here we have a âChristianâ page promoting literally the opposite of what the Bible teaches about being a good person. We are only âgoodâ when we are in Christ, and imputed with His righteousness through saving faith/belief. Our behavior/works will never produce a good or better person.
There is nothing Christian about this statement.
-Chorus in the Chaos
Thatâs why we should be careful on following so-called Christian fb page that is far from the true teachings of the Bible. And how are we going to identify if itâs biblical or purely an opinion? Read the bible :))
Yup.

Where is Jesus in this picture? What steps are you taking to fulfill the great commission? How did you use the chance to share the gospel with as many people as possible when you were still young? Is this your only option for living your life? Remember what Jesus Christ and the wisest king on earth said,
Then I'll say to myself, "You've stored up a lot of good things for years to come. Take life easy, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself."' "But God said to him, 'You fool! I will demand your life from you tonight! Now who will get what you've accumulated?' That's how it is when a person has material riches but is not rich in his relationship with God." - Lk. 12:19-21
Remember your Creator when you are young, before the days of trouble come and the years catch up with you. They will make you say, "I have found no pleasure in them." - Ecc. 12:1
What good does it do for people to win the whole world yet lose their lives? - Mk. 8:36
Remember that you only have one life to live. The day of judgment arrives after we die. Do you live your life solely for the sake of yourself? Is your life solely focused on work, family, marriage, children, business, money, health, prestige, position, and career?
We will face the Lord and give an account to Him one day. Life is too short to waste it on ourselves. How did you give your time to the Lord? I mean, how exactly did you serve Him? How did you use your money to serve Him? Are you also putting your money toward the advancement of God's kingdom? How have you served Him as a faithful husband or wife? Are you discipling your wife and kids? How have you served Him by being a good parent to your children? Are you instructing your children in accordance with God's Word? Are you a good role model for them? How do you see yourself as a salt and light in the world? I hope we will hear Him someday saying to us,
His master said to him, âWell done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.â - Matt. 25:21
"I'm coming soon! I will bring my reward with me to pay all people based on what they have done. Rev. 22:12
It is now time to evaluate our lives. As the great British missionary C.T. Studd who came from a very wealthy family once said,
"Only one life, yes only one, Now let me say, âThy will be doneâ;
And when at last Iâll hear the call, I know Iâll say âtwas worth it allâ;
Only one life,â twill soon be past, Only whatâs done for Christ will last."
-Jun Divierte
Godâs Discipline can also be an act of His graceâ allowing us to grow in Him and through Him. What will happen if He will not discipline us? Hmmm...
Kase may binabali,
kase may tinatama,
kase may inaalis.
Let us just be grateful na nararanasan natin ito sa Diyos. Its just mahal na mahal Niya tayo at ayaw Niya tayong mamuhay sa buhay na hindi kaaya-aya at hindi natin ikabu-buti.
May pagpapala sa pag sunod,
May pagpapala sa pagsuko,
At may pagpapala sa disiplina.
Sound Words To Live By
My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. (Prov. 3:1-10)

Do not underestimate the value of a DELICIOUS FOOD AND A GOOD NAP! This is Biblical - The prophet Elijah fled from the wrath of Queen Jezebel - he was so mad, tired, and he wanted to die. God sent an angel to give him food (freshly baked cake!) and fresh water. He then took a nap. He felt better thereafter. (1 Kings Chapter 19*) Feel like giving up? Eat something delicious, then take a nap!
*âI have had enough, LORD,â he said. âTake my life, for I am no better than my fathers.â
Then he lay down under the broom tree and fell asleep.
Suddenly an angel touched him and said, âGet up and eat.â
And he looked around, and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank and lay down again.
A second time the angel of the LORD returned and touched him, saying, âGet up and eat, or the journey will be too much for you.â
So he got up and ate and drank. And strengthened by that food, he walked forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb,a the mountain of God. (1 Kings, Chapter 19, New International Version)
Few figures in Scripture labored as tirelessly as the apostle Paul. Why did the man who never tired of preaching justification apart from works nevertheless work so hard? Bob Yarbrough turns to Proverbs to profile the stunning industry of Paul.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
