Sometimes, the more time you have on a job can work against you. We can become complacent with the old ways of doing stuff and get comfortable in our own biases. We need to relearn, retrain! If you aren’t learning anything new daily or embracing change, it’s time to work from home.

Not just today but everyday, especially in the last four years this quote has constantly rung in my ears. I’m sorry you can no long be on the fence or refuse to pick a side. It’s your silence that has lead people to say, “this is not who we are.” This past year and last week is exactly who America is and what it’s built on! It’s up to every one of us to work together and change it! It’s time to get off the sidelines and choose to be on the right side of history. No more turning your head or downplaying racism, sexism, discrimination, white privilege, injustice in the justice system, inequality in pay, homelessness, killing of transgender/ transsexuals... and the list goes on. GROW UP! STAND UP and FIGHT!
Bring in this new year with a new attitude. Let go of differences and let’s work together. There is so much work to do, and “it all starts with a Hello”. Happy New Year everyone!
