Of This Earth Jewelry has grown out of one person's love of nature and rocks. All pieces have been hand created using natural stones and metals.
Tomorrow I'll be at JD's in Kearney to attend a fundraiser for Tim Rios - lunch will be served and there will be a silent auction and other ways to raise money to help defray the expenses for Tim's treatments.
More information is available, or better yet show up at noon for a great lunch and the chance at some cool stuff!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone this fall. I will be doing local shows - 2 regular shows in Kearney, 1 at the Museum of Nebraska Art, Kaleidoscope, a fund raiser for MONA and 1 show in Grand Island.
Right now I have no jewelry pieces in local shops, so if you need anything, contact me personally or in just a few months I will have a full display of my pieces for sale.
Also coming - I am helping a friend of mine start a small business where we will sell jewelry with all net sales going to support Hearts United for Pets, a no-kill shelter in Nebraska.

Museum of Nebraska Art - Kaleidoscope is fast approaching -- invited artists will have lovely things available for purchase with part of the proceeds going to support the Museum of Nebraska Art
The Museum always has cider and cookies and is a lovely place to take a break and shop after walking downtown.
Mid Show Promotions next show coming up November 8th - if you can get to Kearney that Saturday I will be set up and should be very near the main entrance. Come to finish your Christmas shopping!
Getting ready for my annual trip to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show - my plan is to bring back some beautiful, unique pieces for display and to include in my work. This will be my first time driving there - the plan is to be able to bring back more and larger items since I won't have to ship them or try to pack them into my baggage.
This weekend I will be at MONA, the Museum of Nebraska Art for Kaleidoscope, a fundraising event for the Museum. Artists, by invitation, have pieces for sale with part of the money raised going to support the museum.
There will be a great representation of art - paintings, weaving, pottery, metal work, etc.
We will be open Sat. from 11 until 4 and Sunday 1 until 4.
My next show is the Holiday Splendor Craft and Trade Show the second Saturday in November -
We will be at the new, beautiful Expo Building in the Buffalo County Fairgrounds - lots of room and you will be able to find everything you need for yourself and as gifts for others. Lots of good things to eat and fun stuff for the kids.

For those who are local, tomorrow is the big Spring show at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. There will be quite a lot to see - at least a few potters and at least one will have his wheel set up for everyone to watch. There will be a Chainsaw artist who will carving logs. I am impressed with the huge variety of things to see, taste and buy during the show.
I will be in booths 26 & 27, just a few rows down from the main entrance, so stop by and say hi.
