Reminder that we will be holding our last netball trials on Saturday at 9 am until 11 am at Recreation Reserve.

If you are unable to make trials but are interested in playing next season, please contact either Melissa Dawson or Anna Edmonds and they will be happy to make other arrangements with you.

We are very excited to announce the signing of Ryder Rousch for the 2024 season!

Ryder joins us off an outstanding 2023 season in which he won the Under 19s Best & Fairest League medal by 10 votes even though missing a few due to playing Seniors, which includes a 4 goal haul on his debut for Sunbury last season. Ryder also has spent time at the Calder Cannons previously.

“Ryder is highly skilled and very mobile, in particular for a player over 200cm. He is a strong overhead mark and attacks the footy with purpose. Ryder will be a fantastic addition to our group as a key forward who can also play Ruck”

Ryder will reconnect with Travis Hodgson who gave him his Senior debut last season, and can’t wait for his first full Senior season

We are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Riley Theo. He found himself a role at Half Back and put some real consistent performances throughout the season barring a couple niggling injuries. He is raring to go for preseason to build on his performances for the 2024 season!

We are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Rhys Lee. He played a tough role last season playing deep in the backline and played his heart out every single time, whilst being rewarded with the kick in duties. He is super keen to continue building his performances into next season!

📣HEAD COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

We are thrilled to announce that Anna Edmonds has re-signed and will be our netball head coach for season 2024.

Anna joined the club as head coach in 2019 and has made an immeasurable difference both off and on the netball court. Anna is looking forward to building on what has already been achieved in the season ahead.

We are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Mitch Caddy. He had a consistent year whilst playing forward and midfield! He came to the club this year looking for a home and he has found it and can’t wait for the 2024 season!

We are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Jarrod Bibby. Mr. Fix-it played everywhere and anywhere when required and was rewarded for a very good season by receiving Runners Up in the Best & Fairest!

We are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Broden Collins. When he came back from injury in the middle of the year, he was a man mountain across the oval and we cannot wait to see what he can do over a full season next year!

Congratulations to Boofa Newbold on receiving his Life membership last Friday night!
Boof has been a volunteer at the club for over 20 years, he has been on the committee for many of these years and was Vice Present for a couple of seasons. Boof is a passionate MSFNC member and is always ready to lend a hand.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Patrick Veszpremi, former player for the Sydney Swans and Western Bulldogs, to our club. Patrick's impressive background includes being an AIS Academy player and being selected as pick 11 in the 2008 draft.

Patrick brings with him a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to developing the next generation of talented young players. His dedication to mentoring and nurturing our future athletes is truly commendable.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Patrick, as well as his wife and daughter Melissa and Sasha, as they join our club. We are excited to have them on board and look forward to the positive impact they will make within our team.
