PoliFem
PoliFem is an org that aims to inspire high school femmes to run for office. We are leading the #DefundNYPD and #CounselorsNotCops movement.
We are co-sponsoring this rally. One of our members, Meril is speaking! Come to take a stand against the lack of ppe, the lack of teachers, and ultimately the lack of care for students that went into the reopening plan.
Today at 6, listen from one of our members on why the Census is important to us young people!!
Are you a young person who wants to get involved with activism but does not know how? Join our workshop on how to plan a protest!
Photos and footage from the protest against unsafe reopening that we planned! The crowd was amazing. Thank you all for supporting us!
A photo of the decriminalize s*x work march !! Our coalition, Fight for Our Lives, pulled up!! We did a little press work behind the scenes as well.
Same flyer of national day of action, but in Spanish!
Pull up! We are organizing this because we recognize that the school reopening plan will be a stripped down version of the school we know and love. There STILL lacks so many details, but we know it is going to be underfunded, understaffed, and a nightmare.
Although we did not organize this, our friends did! We learned so much about S*x Work Decriminalization at our last teach in we recognize that we need to take action as femmes. Thus, we endorse this march! We will be there, and so will you!
Please come to this! The plan is NOT okay for everyone involved! The zoom link is here: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89045405076?pwd=b3VKVFBEYlRLdFpnQTNnV2EvSlpCUT09

In light of what happened at our End Mysogynoir Rally, we decided to host a teach in with our fellow organizations decriminalizing s*x work. Please come in solidarity. There will be childcare on site
We are pleased to announce the debut of our newspaper: the Intersectional Times! It is meant to uplift the work of femme activists, who have far too often been overlooked in history and today. We already have a couple of articles up!
This was at the march that we organized yesterday for education equity for kids of color!
We strive to make a difference in our community! We organized protests in order to make positive changes in the lives of New Yorkers!
We love taking action in our community! Here are some pictures of us at protests we organized!
We hosted a healing circle for our community in order to discuss the new NYC budget!
We know that the new NYC budget has been disappointing for many. We made this play in response to this budget. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19wvp0SW7-DA-oG4q6ozvyWT8iiOlTN_9/view?usp=drivesdk
