After several weeks the Iver Johnson Champion is finally done. It was a complete overhaul and restoration. All of the parts are original except 3 screws that had to be replaced due to threads being worn. The receiver is back to how the originals looked with a case hardened finish(faux case hardened dye), the barrel has been re-blued, and the stock has been completely refinished as well. About 20 labor hours put into this, as well as a lot of cursing. Here are some before and after photos.

Another satisfied customer with a fully refinished stock in high gloss. Took a few days due to drastically changing temperatures but it turned out nice.

Received some firearm cleaner the other day. Plus it smells like bacon! 'Merica!!

Some little personal projects whilst I wait for the ATF to issue my FFL. Keep an eye out for the progress posts. The Re*****on 1100 is getting re-blued, the stock is going to be refinished, and I'm going to try my hand at some carving on the stock.
