Alhamdullilah and Jazakum Allahu Khayran fiddunya wal akhirah to all those who have donated for our cause.

We were able to raise P41,700 and therefrom we have successfully distributed iftar and grocery packs to the orphans and masakeen of the following:

In addition, we are also able to support the Ijtima Qur’ani spearheaded by Sultan Naga Dimaporo Online Studio.

It has been a tradition of 1DC Wizards to distribute iftar and grocery package to the orphans, widows, and masakeen around the Islamic City of Marawi every Ramadan since 2020. Hence, our gratitude to all our partners and donors for the unwavering support and trust through these years.

Now we have come to yet another program to help and feed the needy. And so we are knocking again on your good hearts to please help us realize our plan for the sake of Allah.

The goal is to distribute iftar and grocery package to at least 500 orphans, widows, masakeen (combined) because we believe that every needy Muslim deserves a helping hand.

Abu Hurayrah(رضي الله عنه)narrated that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said,

“Whosoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Judgement. Whosoever alleviates [the lot of] of a needy person, Allah will alleviate [his lot] in this world and the next. Whosoever shields a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the next. Allah will aid a servant [of His] so long as the servant aids his brother.”

Not to mention the greatness of the reward in feeding the needy this month of Ramadan.

It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"𝑾𝒉𝒐𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒕, 𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒔, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕." [Sunan Ibn Majah 1746]

We have just concluded our iftar program at the Wards of Amaipakpak Medical Center (APMC).

Total of 450 iftar packages were given. Alhamdulillah.

To all those who helped us in this humble effort, may Allah accept from you and may He reward you immensely. Ameen. 💕

Hospital ward is a shared room for patients who need similar kind of care or who cannot afford a private room due to indigency (state of being poor or needy).

Hospital bills.
Discomforts in the Ward.
The family left at home.
The sickness itself.
The uncertainties of life.

The list goes on.

These are just some of the financial, physical and emotional struggles that hospital 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (and their watchers) are going through while on treatment. Perhaps a decent iftar meal this Ramadhan would make them feel cared and leave them hopeful.

It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
[Sunan Ibn Majah 1746]

May we reap the rewards of the remaining half of this blessed month. Amīn.

Jazakum Allahu Khayran donors! If only you can see them grinning from ear to ear. 💕

“Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah balasangkano ron o Allah”

These are the words that he repeatedly say when we handover to him the relief pack. He is a PWD, a part-time “sikad” driver, now struggling to survive amid the enhanced community quarantine. Hope his story will find its way to the big hearts of donors, Allahumma ameen.

Alhamdulillah and Jazakum allahu khayran to the pledges we received to help the first beneficiary we featured here. We can only imagine how the recipient will react to this. May Allah accept from all of you!

One of the heart tugging stories we received is a story of a grandson who cried for help for his elderly grandmother.

We might have provided a humble relief package but we all know that it will not sustain the remainder of this quarantine period. Hence, we pray that big hearts will find this post and eventually it’s way to fill his grandmother’s needs. Amīn 🤲

Jazakum allahu khayran fiddunya wal akhirah to all the donors!

Yesterday, we were able to distribute 79 relief packs to our brethren who have special needs (i.e. seniors, pregnant women, PWDs) and some needy who cried for help. Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee bini'matihi tatimmus-saalihaat.

Each beneficiary received one humble relief package containing the goods you see in the photo and this is all because of your good hearts and of course, the aid of Ar-Razzaq.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for entrusting us with your sadaqah. May Allah put barakah in this cause and may He accept from all of us. Amīn. 🤲

Dedicated towards helping the vulnerable members of our community, the 1DC Wizards has been working on providing services and support in the best possible way. To mention one of our humble efforts as another way of introducing ourselves, Ramadan of year 2019, we have distributed over 180 iftar food packs to the ward patients of Amaipakpak Medical Center - Marawi City with the help of our very own health workers in the said hospital. This would not be possible without the aid of The Almighty and of those who continue to support our causes. Walillahil hamd.

“Verily, those who give sadaqat (i.e Zakat and alms, etc), men and women, and lend to Allah a good loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), an theirs shall be an honorable good reward (i.e Paradise).”
