So stoked to share that the Crasher LP “Speaking Terms” is streaming for the first time in it’s entirety over at BrooklynVegan! Very happy for people to hear all the songs together. The album is bookended by it’s extremes with “Static” and “Seaside.” There’s some reprieves to the chaotic and loud songs with the tranquil acoustic tracks when you go start to finish. Link in bio!

“Not Feeling Like Myself,” the third single and one of the heavier ones on my Crasher album “Speaking Terms” is out on all the streaming services. Put on some headphones and give it a spin. This one is intense, it is about a time when I very much did not feel like myself. I’m finally at a safe distance from that time where I feel like I can look at it in a way that I couldn’t when it was actually happening, and writing these heavier songs about that has definitely been my therapy for seeking closure on it.

New song “Not Feeling Like Myself” is premiering today at New Noise Magazine ! Link is in bio. I got some looks at the zoo in this jumpsuit. This is one of the heavier tracks on the album. It originally was an immediate plunge into boiling water with the heavy parts, but I decided I wanted that temperature to slowly raise so I had my friend Kofi Andoh make an intro for it with me. Kofi is one of the best percussionists I’ve ever heard or played with, he absolutely rips. Please listen with headphones, stoked to share this one!

New Crasher song from my album is premiering on Friday! This one is heavy. One of the heavier ones on the album in just about every way. I feel a huge catharsis with playing the heavier songs, after I would get shouting vocal takes and feel the impact of the crushing drums and blaring guitars I would feel totally cleaned out and mentally and physically healthy and refreshed. I would try to to visualize what it was I was I was trying to say or who I was trying to say it to while getting the vocal takes, and the ones where I felt I did that the most vividly and completely were the keepers. Playing the heavy songs is therapy, the shows and practices and recording process is loud and physical, a lot of calories are burned. I think it’s definitely a misnomer with heavier music to think that the people who play it are angry or are scary to meet or whatever, because in my experience those people are extremely well balanced and adjusted as a result of getting out their emotions in their art. The yell chamber is a healthy place to let it all out. This one is a continuation of the first single ”Static.” You can check that out here!

Crasher Cools Things Down on Latest Single “Iced Tea” Exasperation drummer Dave Mead’s debut solo LP Speaking Terms will arrive October 10.

One week from today we’re going to rock where this pool table normally lives in the back room between the sets of and ! Been so stoked to share some singles off the album and can’t wait to bring them to life where this pool table is usually chilling. on the drums and on the bass. Can’t wait.

Very stoked to share that the Crasher music video “Static” by Derrick Acosta of Mega64 up on his YouTube channel. We swam in projections of static, Justine Marzoni-Mead made me a static print jumpsuit, I screamed static, I danced in static, and I sweat inside the jumpsuit so much it was a little hard to get off. This is the opening track of my upcoming album “Speaking Terms” that’s coming out on 10/10! The tracks on the album are in the order that I finished them in, I kept them that way so the album feels to me like the chronological story of the last 3 years, highs and lows and all. I think I’m going to need a jumpsuit for each song on the album. I worked so hard on this album and I’m so stoked to start to finally share it.

Friends! Can’t tell you how stoked I am to announce and start rolling out the .band album titled “Speaking Terms” that I’ve been working on for the last three years. Pre-order link in the bio!

This was far and away the longest and hardest musical journey I have taken with any project, and I seriously can’t believe I’m finally here at the end and I’m so fu***ng stoked to show you! I tried to put every emotion I’ve ever felt into this album. There’s intense angular noise with crushing drums and smashing cymbals and screams and yells that I dug deep to get, and there’s gently fingerpicked and peaceful acoustic guitar songs. This album art was made by the homie . Stay tuned for some videos and singles to be coming your way!

I think I won this marquee sign at a gift exchange thing like 8 years ago and just look at this baby glimmer. There’s about to be a long overdue lot going on in the Crasher camp coming up, I know I’ve been saying the album is coming out any day now for about 3 years but this time it’s actually true! So stoked to play on 9/1 with and . We’re rocking 2 sets between bands in the back room and I’m bringing my marquee sign. Love to see you there.

We will be rocking in the back room of the with on Friday 9/1. I got my personal best Ms. Pac Man score ever in that back room and I don’t think that machine is there anymore but I’m stoked to play in the same room as that thrilling 25¢ adrenaline rush. Going to be playing two sets between bands in the back room, both dedicated to Ms. Pac Man. ☠️

Today is my birthday and I finally got the wrapped Daewoo that I always wanted. Dreams come true.

People send me this artist’s work all the time and I love it. We’re planning the release of the new album right now and I can’t believe I’m even saying those words. Got some cool shows coming up as well, stay tuned for those to be announced. would love to do something with you we have a lot in common.

Hello fine people of our life and times, can’t tell you how pumped I am for this next coming weds on 5/17 with and at . We’re in the middle of final mixes for the LP, just shot a video for the first single, and I can’t tell you how stoked I am it feels so good to be at the end of this journey! and are rocking the drums and bass for this show and the practices have been awesome. Stoked to rock this show and so stoked for the future!

Mixing is going great. and I have been busy sorting through this hoarder house of everything we recorded and literally it’s a lot to unpack. I got some spaced out vocal echos done at and they sound awesome. Can’t believe I’m finally coming close to the end of this journey, it’s definitely been the most personally significant musical journey I’ve ever been on. There were many terrifying moments along the way where I thought I was accidentally recording all my guitars and vocals wrong or something, but of course now that I’m the end that seems so stupid that I had that paranoia because they sound awesome.
