I got the chance to represent Finland in the 2022 Ladies Quadrangular Match in Spain against Denmark, Spain and Sweden a week ago with these amazing people, and we brought home some hardware with us!! The whole experience was so much fun, and full of a LOT of golf - six rounds of golf in three days! Such a fun way to start off the 2022 season. 🥰

I traveled home yesterday from Spain, where I spent two weeks playing in the Ladies European Tour Q-School at La Manga Golf Club! It was such a cool experience, but also a tough two weeks of golf on challenging golf courses.

I’m very happy with how consistently I played in the pre-qualifier, where I finished T37 with the top 75 and ties moving to the final qualifier!
Unfortunately I did not perform quite as well in the final qualifier. A big part of why was that I was dealing with a nasty ear infection from the high winds in the pre-qualifier, and was on a lot of antibiotics that made me feel extremely tired and generally unwell. Sucky timing for such a thing to happen, but that’s life! I’m proud of myself for fighting through not feeling well.

All in all, it was such a great experience for me, I learned a lot about myself and what I need to work on to prepare for next season. I’m excited to start making more final plans and decisions on what my season will look like next year!

But first, I’m going to take a few days off to celebrate Christmas with my family!

My first September in Finland in 7 years! I’ve been spoiled in the US with summer temperatures lasting all the way to October so this is definitely going to take some getting used to... 🥶
Even though I had to bring out all the winter gear for today’s round, I still had a blast! My home course is in great shape especially considering the time of the year so it was super nice to get a few holes in!

A bit too much blue and not enough red on the score card this week... I really enjoyed playing at Peuramaa Golf, my game just wasn’t quite there. A lot of close calls and slight misses. But as with every tournament I’m not happy with, I’m taking it as a learning experience!
My season is done now, and I’m glad I get to focus on improving some things with my coaches before next season starts. I’m not quite sure when that will be for me, but I’m hoping it won’t be too long!

My last tournament of the season is starting tomorrow! I tee it up early in the morning, at 8:11am, at Peuramaa Golf. You can find the tee times, scores, etc. from the link below and follow along!
