“As far as Pakistan cricketers’ participation in IPL is concerned, I can assure you that the players from both sides always want to compete with each other. But we need to follow the advisory from the government, whether you like it or not. This is something which is out of our control,” said Khanna.

“Babar has fans in India as well and, bearing in mind his technique, he is at par with Kohli. It is now a matter of consistency, as Kohli has been doing it for past 10-12 years, and if Babar can continue to play like this he will become more mature as a cricketer,” he said.

پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کے مطابق 3 سالہ معاہدے سے پاکستان کی کرکٹ پر بہت مثبت اثرات مرتب ہوں گے، پی سی بی آئندہ 3 سال میں قومی مینز اور ویمنز کرکٹ کے فروغ پر 15 بلین روپے خرچ کرے گا، یہ رقم ہائی پرفارمنس سنٹرز میں سابق کرکٹرز کے لیے روزگار کے مواقع پیدا کرنے پر بھی خرچ ہوگی۔

چیئرمین پی سی بی احسان مانی کا کہنا ہے کہ معاہدے کو حتمی شکل دینے پر پی ٹی وی اور آئی میڈیا کیمونیکشن سروسز کو مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہیں، یہ پاکستان کرکٹ کی تاریخ کی سب سے بڑی براڈکاسٹنگ ڈیل ہے۔

3 سالہ براڈکاسٹ معاہدے کو حتمی شکل دینے میں چیئرمین پی سی بی احسان مانی کا اہم کردار رہا، احسان مانی گزشتہ 4 ماہ سے اس ڈیل پر کام کر رہے تھے، احسان مانی اس سے قبل آئی سی سی اور پی سی بی کو منافع بخش براڈکاسٹ ڈیل کرانے میں شہرت رکھتے ہیں، اس معاہدے کے بعد پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کا بھارتی براڈکاسٹرز پر انحصار ختم ہوجائے گا، گزشتہ 3 سالہ براڈکاسٹ ڈیل سے پی سی بی کو 60 ملین امریکی ڈالر کی آمدن ہوئی تھی۔

Pakistan Cricket Board Set to Launch Special Channel Exclusively for Broadcasting Cricket For International, PSL , Domestic Matches...

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is looking set to sign a special broadcasting deal, which could see both domestic and international games broadcasted on a single channel in the country.

Sources close to the PCB reveal that the board feels a fresh media rights contract won’t earn them a lot of revenue, due to the havoc caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, while also considering the ongoing conflict with the Pakistan Super League (PSL)’s broadcaster.

Whether the board will run the channel itself or will it be based on a revenue-sharing formula is yet to be confirmed.

It is to be known that the PCB had earlier only advertised about the sale of international media rights which is also a sign that the aforementioned deal is likely to happen in the near future.

If the deal does take place, the channel will also show highlights of old matches, during the off-season, and interviews of cricketers.
