Never let your physical limitations define you or hold you back 🧡
I completed my follow up 30 month MS study today. It focuses on how diet and lifestyle effect MS. My responses were probably the best they have ever been! I am in a great place emotionally and mentally and I am so thankful! I am optimistic this will be my first year without a relapse. Stress reduction is EVERYTHING! But I think increasing my physical activity and adding weights and strength training has helped my stamina a ton! Do what you can, when you can, as much as you can.
My new medicine is here 😬 I was having reactions to my last one so I wasn't taking it like I should. After alot of research, I decided this would be the best one for me right now. I 100% believe MS can be controlled naturally, but have learned I'm not 100% like I should be. So, this is my back up to hopefully help control progression. I have heard really things about this medicine. But, I have also heard the first doses can you make you feel like crap while it is killing all your B cells that are attacking your system. So, praying this goes better than I think it will 🤞🧡
Completed THOR with my family. Getting back on track with my diet and feeling better! Do what you can, when you can, while you can, as much as you can! NEVER let MS get in the way 🧡💪
Just as I thought I was ready to start my new MS drug, I see this study 😩 Really has me questioning if I should or not 😠I have stopped my other MS med in the mean time and feel great! Such a tough decision 😢
B cells reappear less mature and more activated after their anti-CD20–mediated depletion in multiple sclerosis | Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences B cell depletion via anti-CD20 antibodies is a highly effective treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS). It's true! There's no "magic bullet" or easy way out to improve our health, we have to work at it!
There’s no question about it - adding phytase to my regimen has been nothing short of transformative. The surge in energy, a pervasive sense of optimism, enhanced sleep quality, better body temperature regulation, and an overall boost in well-being... it’s been a game-changer. But for me, it’s just one piece of the puzzle. Like the testimonials I’ve shared, I’ve remained committed to the Best Bet Diet, daily physical activity, spiritual practices, mindfulness, and optimizing my vitamin D intake. It seems many are often in search of that ‘magic bullet’ for health improvement, but I’m convinced it doesn’t exist. In my journey, achieving optimal health has required discipline and a holistic approach to every facet of life. It’s about knowledge, implementation, commitment, and making thoughtful choices every single day. There’s no simple shortcut. Let’s go!!
No more boohooing today!
Having a boo hoo me night. Tired of having MS and eating healthy. Better day tomorrow 🧡
Worth sharing again 🧡
Seventy-two Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis Patients were followed for an average of 4 years. Half of them (36) were put on a gluten-free diet. "We found that a GFD has a neuroprotective role in a majority of MS patients, especially in improving the physical capacity, and the activity of lesions in the brain seen on MRI." https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/Current-Evidence-on-the-Efficacy-of-Gluten-Free-in-Passali-Josefsen/0a2e368a9a63b54b58a9b513a285860f2c0e67c9
Many people believe going vegan is a healthier option. As long as you aren't replacing that meat with more processed food!
Day 1 STRICT paleo begins tomorrow 🙌 I have slowly let back in legumes, grains, soy, and artificial sweeteners 😠I thought, well at least I'm still avoiding gluten and dairy. I have been more focused on losing a few lbs and increasing my protein 😪 I haven't felt the best, and have had strong cravings leading to terrible eating habits. I felt the best when I was STRICT, and I want to get back to that! I'm so proud of going to the gym most days and increasing my strength and endurance, it's time to take it even further 🧡💪
Continuing to try and stick to paleo. I fail most days, but I think eating healthier overall has kept my MS stable, so I will always try to get back on track! I have been able to go to the gym most days, and am very impressed with how much I am able to do. My strength and endurance are great! Currently about to switch to a new MS medication. Always scary because I don't want to take any, but scary to think about new lesions as well. I will be switching from Vumerity because of the awful flushing, to Kesimpta. I have heard great things from the MS community, so I'm hopeful it will will be a good change for me 🧡
Reminder to self 🧡
My second bag and I just noticed this! I wouldn't consider it paleo, but dairy, soy, and gluten free! They have a few different flavors. I eat a couple to help curb my sweet tooth 😋

LOVING this new protein shake! Since my last flare, I have been working hard on being more active and eating healthier. I am doing SO much better! The extreme fatigue is gone and vision is almost back to normal! I also celebrated 3 years with MS on August 9 🧡
It's really works!
The amazing thing about grounding is that people all over the world in diverse cultures have talked about the benefits and how to improve their health and well-being from being barefoot on the earth for thousands and thousands of years. Although this may seem new to some, it is really prevalent in other cultures.

I started my new MS med a few days ago 😩 Luckily, I am not having any of the side effects so far, so it's going well. Hopefully, I can continue with no new symptoms or lesions. My eyesight is improving. I still see a reflection of light in ly left eye, but my peripheral vision has improved. My fatigue is getting better. I still feel dizzy, off balance, overwhelmed when I have to look side to side, and some brain fog, which all just makes me feel like crap most of the day no matter how much I rest. BUT, I was able to run 4 miles today at a decent pace so that's a huge win! Continuing with strict dieting and vitamins, so hopefully this will all be over soon 🧡
I started taking this daily!
L-Lysine: Pathogen Inhibitor
This amino acid enters the liver and acts as a smokescreen to all of the pathogens that are responsible for liver disease and autoimmune disorders. Pathogens, especially those in the herpetic family such as Epstein-Barr, shingles, HHV-6, HHV-7, and the undiscovered HHV-10, HHV-11, HHV-12, HHV13, HHV-14, HHV-15, and HHV-16, hate lysine. It’s like the powder that comes out of a fire extinguisher—a retardant that deters these bugs from proliferating.
By inhibiting and reducing pathogen load, L-lysine acts as an anti-inflammatory to the entire nervous system, especially the central nervous system and the vagus and phrenic nerves, which get targeted by neurotoxins produced by EBV, shingles, and other bugs.
L-lysine strengthens the immune system and aids in some of the liver’s most important functions. It helps with autoimmune disorders, liver disease, TMJ, bell’s palsy, sciatica, Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, eczema, fatigue, ringing in the ears, balance issues, migraines, thyroid problems, nodules, cysts, PCOS, endometriosis, RA, lupus, MS, TMJ, shingles, cold sores, neuropathy, eye floaters, fibroids, canker sores, mouth and tongue sores and ulcers, and more.
When you take L-Lysine year-round, you have less chance of getting a bad flu or for a pathogen such as EBV or shingles–whether it’s one that you already have or it’s a new strain that you pick up–to proliferate and cause new symptoms or a worsening of existing symptoms.
For more information on how to use L-lysine and other supplements, including suggested dosages, you can refer to Cleanse To Heal (51% off today on Amazon!).

Gluten free cake for my bday yesterday made by talented cousin! It was SO GOOD 🤤
Sticking strict with my diet to get through this flare. Been pretty exhausted lately, my eyes feel tired constantly, I feel like I'm going blind. I can still see, it's just very straining and hard to focus. Some things are a blur, especially my peripheral vision. Started steroids, helped the first 2 days but I may not finish my last dose. In the works on starting my new MS drug VUMERITY. I wish I had stayed strict to avoid this, but with 3 new lesions I can't risk it. Hopefully, I will get back on track, shrink these lesions, and get back to beating MS 🧡
My vision has not gotten any better. We had a tragic loss in our family, and I fell off track with eating healthy. I had an MRI and it shows I have 3 new lesions 😠I am beyond disappointed in myself. One of the lesions is in an area of my brain that affects my vision. I am confident this will not be permanent. It is a wake up call that I have to stay on track no matter what and no matter how good I feel. I unfortunately have decided to go back on MS medication. I chose the lowest risk medication possible. I just can't trust myself to be able to be 100% compliant with paleo, I wish I could, I pray I go back to that. I am trying my best, because I know it works. I won't let MS win 🧡
