Hi Everyone,
Traveling to the Dominican Republic in April 2022 will be such an incredible adventure! I believe one of the best ways to help students gain new perspectives and build skills for the future is through experiential learning. In particular, this trip offers a tremendously unique opportunity to partake in a service project overseas. Travel is an opportunity for students to experience a new way of life and the invaluable chance to develop a sense of independence while still learning alongside their friends.

Just One Touch Ministry Celebrates Patricia Carter Bridges
for Women's History Month!!!

Patricia Carter Bridges is an Educator. Her life’s mission is to educate that no one perish for lack of knowledge. Born in Atlantic City, Patricia was raised under the guise that education was a powerful instrument through which many lives would be changed.

Patricia received BFA in Dance Education/Choreography from the University of NC School of the Arts in 1988. Upon graduation, Patricia returned to Kean, to assist in formulating the William Chaison Dance Theatre, in residence at Kean University. Three weeks before the premiere of his dream company, Chaison passed, leaving Patricia the mantle of Artistic Director and Principal Dance Artist of the Chaison Dance Theatre from 1988-1992. During this period, Patricia was also employed in Admissions for Kean, with the other portion of time was devoted to the dance company. Upon leaving the dance world and beginning her family, Patricia returned to the focus of Psychology and in 1996, earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling while still working full-time at Kean University.

In January of 2001, Patricia received the licensed to preach from First Baptist Church of South Orange, NJ under the spiritual leadership of Terry L. Richardson, Senior Pastor. Patricia was the first woman licensed by the First Baptist Church of South Orange in 105 years at the time of her licensing. In January 2021, Patricia was ordained. As Reverend Bridges continues to serve the FBCSO church family, Patricia is being used by God as Director for many ministries, but most crucially, to design and implement the Ministry of Care and Counseling.

Among the many placements in life, the assignment of Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Psychology at Kean University has been one of most reward. Patricia retired from her final position at Kean after over 29 years of service. Patricia is employed as a School and Trauma Counselor in Union Township Schools. Patricia is a Licensed Professional Counselor for the State of New Jersey in Marriage and Family Counseling; a Nationally Certified Counselor by the National Board of Certified Counselors, and State of NJ DRCC (Disaster Relief and Crisis Counselor) From this point, she will go on to complete her dissertation to obtain her Doctorate of Religious Studies in Christian Counseling by 2021.

In December 2011, Patricia is presently establishing and implementing the 501C3 entitled The Living Water Well Inc. The Living Water Well Inc. is a program which facilitates healing through the use of music, art and movement therapies; as well as mentoring, life coaching and educational strategies designed to transform and impact lives, promote mental and social wellness, and bring about a consistent wholeness to a broken society.

As one can see, Patricia wears many hats. But there are greater callings have been to family. She is the devoted wife of the late Audley Bridges Sr., mother of Darus Alexis and David Alden and Grandmother to six. She is divinely positioned in every aspect of life.
Created to Worship, Called to Impact and Commanded to Love, that is Patricia.
