The human body is always honest - it shows us the cards at face value, even when the answers are the ones we don’t want to hear. Unfortunately, to address some health issues, I have decided to drop out of this weekend. To everyone running: smile😊, celebrate every mile, and soak up the unmatched Boston energy!

I will be looking forward racing in London next weekend. 💙💛

Back at Jesse Owens stadium…. But I’m not racing this time! This year we celebrated TEN YEARS of wheelchair track & field at the high school level. 💜 Swipe to see me at year one. I’m so unbelievably honored to be on the receiving end of this opportunity.🤗 I can’t wait to see how many wheelchair athletes are positively impacted through this movement in another ten years. 💜

Thank you, Nottwil. 🇨🇭❤️ I am so honored to compete in such a talented women’s field.🔥 This sport continues to teach me so much. And along those teaching moments, sometimes you get to walk away with some surprises as well. For me, I am happy to walk away with a new personal best in the 1500m, which was also fast enough for me to be nominated back on to the U.S National Team. 😊 Thank you to everyone who tuned into the livestream this week and for the great cheer! Now it’s time for some summer road racing. 🇺🇸❤️

It is no secret that I believe in the power of education.
I believe in advocating for change through identifying gaps and needs in communities.
I also believe in being in the trenches — doing the work when things get hard and leaning into the things that challenge us.

I am honored to announce that I’ve accepted admission as a doctoral student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign starting this fall. 💛 I will be studying Recreation, Sport, & Tourism with a field specialization in leisure behavior. My goal is to study physical activity engagement for youth with disabilities and discover the best strategies for this specific population to get moving.⚡️

Shoutout to so many of YOU who have supported me in my academic journey! This has been a very long and careful discernment process for me. We have a long way to go but I am very eager to buckle in and to begin this journey. 🌻

Diamond Head State Monument— Honolulu, HI.

600ft ascent over three quarters of a mile. No time for quitting or turning around. Just climb and look ahead! There has to be a life lesson in there somewhere.😉

Today was the first day ever that I out-worked my X3 knee— it over heated right at the finish. Thankful for the journey and challenge. 🙏🏻

Swipe to see Ziqi’s first ever peace-sign 💙😊
