IVF: Journey To Take Home
Everything IVF, from the beginning to end, and everything in between.
A moment of humor
Stop asking yourself “what’s wrong with me”. Success starts with true self love and care despite your outcomes on this journey.
I absolutely love this
Ways to keep a connection with your partner during IVF:
Hold Hands, massage, exercise together, date nights with no stressful conversations, verbal praise, goal planning sessions and establishing routines.
People who are outside of the infertility circle will never understand the impact the journey has on your marriage. It makes some couples stronger, while others break. It’s ok to ask for help. ♥️
It’s this, and learning to not get destroyed by peoples opinions and misconceptions about infertility. I had to stop talking about it with certain people because well meaning comments were actually quite ignorant. You are not alone.
Ivf requires an immense amount of patience. Waiting for the start, waiting for the retrieval, waiting for the transfer. The whole entire time all you think about is what’s the next step. One foot in front of the others my friends. ♥️
Prices for meds are insane, here is an average cost. I have seen them go for more and also less.
Claim it ladies! ♥️
If you have not PGT tested your embryos knowing which embryo to choose for transfer can be extremely difficult. Here is a chart that gives you an Idea of how the grades work. I will say I have seen 4BC become a take home. Baby dust ladies. ♥️
IVF GOT THIS!
The fact that you need IVF to conceive does not and will never mean you are less than a woman. ♥️♥️
Let’s start a little bit before this. Step 1: Consult. If your regular OB/GYN has referred or recommended IVF for you, the next step will be researching clinics. This get confusing because you have many options from local, out of state, and even out of country clinics. It’s very important to do your research about which clinic and most importantly Dr. will work for you.
Welcome to IVF: Journey To Take Home! My hope is to use this page to help as many future mama’s as possible. Infertility is one of the HARDEST things a woman should never have to deal with. But here we are. Here you will find resources, advice, links, support groups, and a place to vent. My journey to take home took 6 years. I admin several support groups and have networked with many of the experts. I am happy to share my journey.
