Shashwot Khadka is a Nepali singer, songwriter, guitarist and composer. He released his debut single,"Apratakchya", in 21st August 2019 and got his breakthrough in this industry after 11 months with the re

lease of Batash in the month of July, 2020. He is one of the most searched singers in 2020 because of his song “Batash”. He completed his school days in Kathmandu. He is very shy by nature. The early teenage time that he spent in a hostel contributed a lot in making him into the shy and introverted person that he is. He always loved to hang out with people who are interested in music. Due to his different rhythm and voice, his friends always appreciated and inspired him to sing and compose his own song. Time passed by and with all the support and love, he reached out to his pen and paper. He started writing songs while he was in the hostel during his free time.. Shashwot Khadka finds inspiration from artists such as Sajjan Raj Vaidya, Bikki Gurung, Oasis Thapa and similar others. Career
Shashwot Khadka has loved to listen and sing songs since childhood. He was at the age of 13 when he wrote his first song. His family always supported him but the support was limited to keeping it as a hobby. Thus, he was always under a wrap until Batash swept away everybody by storm. This gave his parents a light of hope that he could have a career in music. Popular song
"Batash”, being his breakthrough song, is his most popular and most watched video on his youtube channel. He wrote this song in 2019 when he was returning from his college. It was a windy day outside and so were his feelings inside. That gust of wind that greased his hair and walked by gave him his title of the song “Batash”, said Mr. Khadka, in an interview. He wrote the song imagining two lovers where the whole world gets wiped out by the wind and just the two remain. The song has broken the internet with lots of tik tok videos made to it. It is one of the most popular songs of 2020.
