Guess the man

There was a dent on the door of a BMW car. Its owner never repaired the dent. When asked, he would say, "In the race of life, we shouldn't drive so fast that we have to stop the car by hitting someone with a brick." The person listening to this would be amazed by his callousness.

Then, he would shake his head, whether understanding or not, and continue on his way. One day, a young business manager was driving his new BMW from the office to his home in DHA. While passing through a neglected area, he saw a young child running towards the road from a dilapidated place with debris. He slowed down the car, but he still saw the child throwing something on the road.

*With a thud and a distinct sound, it was a brick that hit the door of his new car. He immediately applied the brakes and got out of the car to see the door with a significant dent.

He angrily rushed towards the child who had thrown the brick, grabbed him, and scolded, "Have you gone blind, you crazy? Will your father pay for the damage?" He shouted in frustration, wearing a distressed shirt, as the child's face displayed a mix of embarrassment and helplessness.

"Sir, I don't know what to do. Should I raise my hand and keep running?" I kept muttering as I continued to run, but no one paid any attention. Suddenly, he heard something broken in broken Urdu, tears welled up in his eyes, and he gestured towards a hilly area of the road.

There, his father was lying, too heavy for him to lift alone. What should I do, sir? A look of astonishment appeared on the business executive's face. He continued towards the hilly area with the child and saw a handicapped person lying face-down in the dirt and beside him was a fallen wheelchair.

The scene suggested that due to the weight, the wheelchair hadn't been properly supported for the child, and along with it, a bag of rice had fallen. Perhaps the father had brought it from somewhere to ask for assistance.

"Please, help me lift my father and place him on the chair," the business executive requested, his face reflecting his realization and regret for his anger. Without caring about his suit, he put in all his effort and managed to lift the disabled man and placed him onto the wheelchair. The child continued to watch, grateful tears in his eyes.

Then, carrying the father, he went back to his car, took out ten thousand rupees from his wallet, and put it in the disabled man's pocket. Then, he cleaned the scratches with a tissue paper and pushed the wheelchair back up the hill. The child kept looking at him with tears of gratitude and then walked away with his father.

The young man later established a school for the disabled in collaboration with a charity organization and over the years, the child became educated, mingling with other children, joining the race of life.

The BMW remained with him for another five years, but he never repaired the dented door. Whenever someone asked him, he would simply say, "In the race of life, we shouldn't drive so fast that we have to stop the car by hitting someone with a brick."

Sometimes, the Higher Power whispers in our ears, and sometimes, it speaks to us from within our hearts. When we refuse to listen to its message, it sometimes throws a brick at us to get our attention.
