If you happen to buy get some cookies be on the lookout! Be a nice human return her diamond!

Bonus if you buy cookies today. My diamond is missing. It is not required of me to wear gloves when I baked. My heart is beyond broken. It’s been on my hand for 36 years. If you happened find it, I would forever be in debt if you would return it. It’s a marquis cut. I’m sorry if you find it but I don’t take my ring off for anything.

Ever walk up in the grocery store and assume the bags of produce are cheaper than the pick your own fruit stands? Pay attention to those prices!

3 # bag for $3.56 ~ $1.19/lb
3 # of the pick your own $2.94 @ $0.98/lb

Saved 62 cents on this 3 # of Apples(and got better quality apples) but it adds up over time!

This is a 1000 gram iron bar. It’s raw value is around $100.

If you decide to make horseshoes, its value would increase to $250.

If, instead, you decided to make sewing needles, the value would increase to about $70,000.

If you decided to produce watch springs and gears, the value would increase to about $6 Million.

However still, if you decided to manufacture precision laser components out of it like ones used in lithography, it’ll be worth $15 Million.

Your value is not just what you are made of - but above all -in what ways you can make the best of who you are.

Glad to be invited by Frontier Community Credit Union to have a discussion with employees and members on how to advocate for policies with legislators and other policy makers. Credit unions play a pivotal role in the financial lives of their members due to their unique member-centric approach. I appreciate their approach of empowering individuals and promoting financial literacy, and they serve as valuable community partners especially as they help their members achieve their goals and build a secure financial future.

Truly a COMMUNITY Credit Union! Proud to be a part of it!

Today we had the pleasure of accepting a check of $12,500 from Mr. Augustine, CEO of Frontier Community Credit Union. Over the last 8 years Frontier has been a dedicated financial supporter, giving over $88,000 to the Leavenworth Interfaith Community of Hope through their Home For the Homeless program. Through this program, $100.00 of each mortgage or home equity loan is donated directly to support unhoused individuals in Leavenworth County. Thank you Mike, Letha, and team!

Be sure to check out your local Kansas Wineries first when making your wine selections! We really do have some great wineries here locally. Tonight’s selection is the Award winning Starry Starry Night Dessert Wine from Crescent Moon Winery just southwest of Tonganoxie off of 40 Hwy. They also have a tasting room on Mass St in Downtown Lawrence … try them out! They have just about the whole spectrum from dry to sweet along with ciders (The Perry was 🤌) It is truly one of the greatest!

I normally would have looked through these scratched lenses on my Oakley Turbines and eventually just got a whole new pair because the Prizm lenses through Oakley are just short of a whole new pair of glasses. But, thanks to Revant Optics wide selection of lenses that fit many different designer frames I paid a fraction of the cost for these Elite Polarized Ice Blue lenses popped them in and have just as good if not a better view than the original Prizm lenses! Sunglasses are summer ready and the extra savings can be repurposed!

(Old Prizm lenses out, new Revant Optics lenses in the frames)
