Write the story for you and for those who need to find it. Edit for those who need to understand the message.
Sometimes the darkest doorways lead to the brightest paths.
Write your story for those who need to find it.
Reading is essential to breaking your mental barriers.
Stories are a part of us. Storytelling is in our DNA. Since time immemorial, we have shared experiences, teachings and knowledge through stories.

Through the process of telling an authentic story, and one ladden with truths, I have lost many of who I once called friends. However, I never let that stop me from telling my story as those who needed to read it, appreciated it and me for sharing it.

Editing is never any writer's idea of a good time. My biggest problem is finding someone I trust to pay my words the respect they deserve and to not input their own personal opinion. Edit so that those who need to find your story appreciates the true splendour.

Writing Explore, daydream, think, listen, and feel to find your story.
So many out there stop themselves from telling their story because they think "Who will want to read it?"
Those who are meant to read it, will read it. And those who need to read it, will find it. Write your story.
Sometimes that sadness, that ache and that melancholy in your centre is your story needing to be told. Do not let the fear of words hide your story from those who need to hear it.
There are many times I lose myself and adopt a persona completely alien to my character. I become who I write and in this way, I give my characters life.
Writing a story is easy; editing the story so others want to read it is the hardest part. Moulding, shaping and beating your story into shape takes the most out of you.

Writing is a creative process that demands a lot of attention. It takes constant work, full commitment and loyalty. I would liken the process to a relationship as it requires you to work at it in the same way you would a meaningful relationship.
Reading has taken me to many different places, I've met so many different people and felt so many different emotions.
I hope you travel through my stories too.
"A book that is made up of only great sentences is not necessarily a great book."
