Quiet Corner Blitzball League

As of right now we are looking for a a head count of players and or teams interested in the 2022 season. QCBBL is looking to have 6-10 teams this season where jersey shirts will be supplied along with equipment to play. Each team will be responsible before the season starts of a $250 League fee to cover all expenses such as fields, jerseys, equipment, and playoff/world series game under the lights.

This post will be the rules and regulations of this Blitzball league. This post will be for reference only during games for rules.

Rules:

1. Pitching distance is 50ft from back side of home plate.
2. Fence distance is 100ft (110ft in all-star game).
3. 6 balls or 2 hit by pitches is a walk.
4. 3 strikes is an out.
5. If a pitch hits any part of the strike zone besides the legs is a strike.
6. 3 inning games unless score is tied game will go into extra innings.
7. Indian rubber/pegging allowed.
8. Max of 3 fielders at a time (1 pitcher, 2 fielders).
9. Max 3 batters at a time.
10. 6 outs per game per pitcher unless game goes into extra innings original pitcher may return for 2 outs for each inning.
11. A ball in play may be thrown to pitcher inside a 5ft diameter for a force out at any base chosen.
12. With a runner on 3rd going home if pitcher receives the ball before runner gets half way home they must return to 3rd base.
13. To get runner out going home you must throw the ball and hit the strike zone before they touch the base.
14. With a overthrow to any base or pitcher runner is allowed only 1 base.
15. There will be ABSOLUTELY NO FIGHTING. Each player/team involved in any fights will be forced to forfeit the games and face possible disqualification from any extra activity games and post season games. (depending on severity of fight a discussion will be help between the board to allow the team back the following year).
16. Every player/team will treat everyone and the fields with respect and not leave any trash behind and leave the field as it was when arrived(if there is any vandalism to the fields the teams will be fined).
