It is important to lie on your stomach, also known as prone, as much as possible. If you can do this about 12 hours a day, at least, that will definitely help with your lungs getting enough air. That’s just how this disease works!
We have seen it improve our patients in the hospital setting. Those who were unable to lie on their stomach because it was too uncomfortable or for another reason tended to have a much worse outcome. Pass this on to others! :)

Did you know that sometimes when you think you are hungry, your body could actually be thirsty?
So anytime you think you might be hungry or “snacky”, first of all just drink some water and see if that helps. Drink at least 8 oz and then wait about 10-15 minutes to really see if your body responds to just wanting the fluid.
This is also a great way to curb hunger when you are trying to lose those inches!
