I have some Nigerian dwarf does, jr does and doelings looking for new pasture, all from good milking lines. Some available with or without papers, mature does are registered.

I’m not in a hurry to move them just thought I would put it out there incase anyone is planning for spring kids as I haven’t bred them yet.

Wild Prairie bringer of rain aka Ari out of Further looks like rain and Silverberry jasper, so happy to get a doeling from this pairing. She looks like her dam with her sires blue eyes

Cedar green Mocha Latte kicked off kidding 2023 June 1st with beautiful blue eyed buck/doe twins. Then Mossy Rock Didgeridoo had another beautiful set of buck/doe twins June 4. Last Sunday Furthur Looks Like Rain gave us buck/doe/buck Triplets!! All of these kids are sired by my favourite buck Silverberry Jasper and does he ever leave his mark on his kids! We will have some wethers/pet bucks available so far all the doelings are being retained.

There are a couple new goats in the herd! First up is Burnt Barn NK Trinket. Trinket is a well put together doe with beautiful blue eyes,a great udder and milks like a dream ❤️we are so excited to have her. Our second addition is Silverberry WB Kippy. Kippy is polled has blue eyes AND is bred to Joyful Medows Kismet. Kippy is a first freshener and I’m hoping for some beautiful kids out of that pairing. Thanks to Silverberry Acres- Registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats for passing these beautiful girls to us ❤️

The best ever!!! I ordered some cameras thinking I would have to run a line out to the barn BUT they work perfectly just on the wifi 😱 AND they didn’t break the bank! they also work in our big barn which is even farther from the house! This is a total game changer for us kidding and farrowing this year!! 4 more cameras are on the way!

Now to cool before I can cut into it! Sour dough isn’t hard to do BUT you do have to think a day or two ahead which isn’t my specialty lol but I’m happy my starter was still good after a long stay in the fridge.

My very favourite season is Autumn 🍂 I look forward to a time when I can live where the leaves last more then a couple days before the wind takes them and the autumn temperatures stick around for more then a couple of weeks. I can not wait to be able to enjoy it for more then a brief moment before is it gone. To see the hills and mountains turn the colors of autumn and that smell 🥰😍 one day…….

I’m working on drying Rain off but she really just wants to be a dairy goat! I’m not complaining about the milk but she will need a break before breeding So I just milk her a little bit less every day.

Not everything we grow or create has to be sold or have a monetary value. Bringing us joy is more then enough! Grow baby asparagus grow! My goal for our homestead has always been to provide for my family and be self sufficient, not to be stuck relying on the very broken food system. I love to share when we have extra, usually eggs and milk, my mom was always doing for others I guess it rubbed off on me ☺️We are getting there one small step at a time ❤️

Mossy rock Didgeridoo wrapped up put kidding season with buck doe twins! Dark buckskin with white is the doeling red is the buckling! Sneaky girl had ligs at noon and then had fresh babies on the ground when I got back at 4! I just missed it! She is a great mom. So excited for this pair sired by Thunder Ridge Hurricane!

We will have one doeling available from this pairing. She will be 8 weeks July 26.
They are both maturing into beautiful girls but we will only be keeping one.
Buyer can have first choice as they are both of equal quality IMO. I will be happy to keep either ❤️

A little more milk everyday! Have you ever had fresh goats milk? Different breeds taste different! We have had many breeds of goats and Nigerian dwarf milk is our favourite! High in butterfat it is sweet and creamy!

Our lawn mowers turn grass into bacon 🥓 they are easy on the pasture and the fencing. We love kunekune hogs so much! My goal is to mow as little grass as possible. If you are interested in trying this delicious pasture raised pork or want to raise some yourself let us know!
