Nothing like a bracing dip in the river to wake me up and get my blood flowing on a Monday. I felt alive and energized after this morning's swim. Cold water swimming can be invigorating, refreshing, and restorative year-round. Not only does it increase alertness and energy, but it's also been shown to improve heart health and cognitive function.
Fab morning learning to Nordic Walk with .nordic it’s more than just “walking with poles” it’s a proper workout if you’re d**g it properly.

It’s soup season!! 🍁 soup is a great way of getting loads of easy fab nutrition in you. This one is red peppers sweet potato & lentils (with a sprinkling of cinnamon 👌🏻) … and if last week’s leak & butter bean soup is anything to go by this one is going to last me at least 5 servings ☺️.
Something exciting coming very soon...

Anyone else loving these cooler days. I’m really not a heatwave summer person…. even though I used to live in Australia 🇦🇺😂
Vitamin Sea is my favourite. ❤️

Happy Friday all. I can confirm it’s Friday. I’m lucky enough to have a few rooms to choose from for my daily office. This is my favourite, love seeing the blue skies & a palm tree plant. Reminds me of summer holidays. 😎. Which is you favourite room to work in? (Ps my Bed Office is a close 2nd.)
Today is a good day my avocado was just perfect 👌please tell me it’s not just me that gets excited about this ... or maybe it’s I’ve been in quarantine too long to get excited about such a tuning 😂.
Can you relate? I hear this a lot recently. Logically my head says that I should have more energy, I’m not getting up super early for work and I don’t have to endure my tiring commute everyday, so why am I so tired? There could be lots of reasons for this, a different routine, eating differently, even the stress of the situation; stress has been shown in studies to cause tiredness & fatigue, and I know for myself that’s how it usually shows up in my body.
I’ve put together my Staying Healthy through lock down with this in mind. In the Guide I’ll give you practical tips on how to help improve your energy levels during this time. I know the tips I’ve included are really working for me, and they are easy ‘no pressure’ tips which really are really practical. Link below to grab your copy.
Happy Wednesday all, and as promised I have a little gift for you. I've put together a "Keeping Healthy through Lockdown" mini e-guide. Sign up here to get your copy. ❤️

... watch this space. 😊
Question of the Day? Where's the first place you're going to to eat once Lock Down is over?
a) Pret
b) Wagamamas
c) Local Pub
d) Back to the kitchen for me.
... and breathe. It’s Easter weekend; a change of routine for a few days. Make sure you take time out to take a breather; really allow your body to rest & recover in all this craziness. Slowing our breath down shifts our nervous system into recovery mode.
And we all need that right now. For more info pop over to my insta story. ❤️
If your new office is your home, make sure you're sitting well and remembering to get up and move regularly. Not just for posture but for overall health, including breathing well and energy. This is a great little informative video.

Feeling super proud of myself today. If you know me you’ll know I’m not the best baker cook; but today I made soda bread. I followed the recipe (look up his gorgeous YouTube vid on it) it was sooo easy, and sooo delicious. I’m really enjoying having the time to cook & create now I’m . Would love to hear what you guys have been creating in your quarantine kitchens. 😊
I’m trying to create more routine into my wfh days which has today included yoga at lunch time. I’m very out of practice. But this is a good time to get into practice again. 🧘♀️ what rituals are you putting into your day?
It’s been a crazy week. I’m sure we’ve all felt it. I know I have. But in the midst of it all I’ve seen so much good will, kindness & connection. From online meditation and yoga . To helping people find ways to connect with others. I would love to hear your tips on getting through this crazy season and keeping connected.
I hope everyone is doing ok. It’s concerning times we’re living through at the moment. I admit I’m not in the UK right now, I’m in Lisbon, we were lucky to make it out here, as they started implementing strong measures the day we arrived. It’s very quiet here but everywhere you go there are signs and emergency numbers to call. There are signs around our hotel & they’ve even installed a number of handsanitizers since we arrived. There is a lot of worry and concern amongst the restaurant staff we meet. I really hope it will all be ok here. We are trying to enjoy the hospitality & sunshine as much as we can whilst we can. It will be interesting for us returning to the Uk, so much has changed in the last few days. Stay safe everyone & be kind.
Love this post from what would you take if these were health options, energy? Better sleep? Less stress? Healthy eating? Would love to hear what you’d pick?
I’m really passionate about the power of getting outdoors. I love hiking & regularly lead hikes for Today was one of those days & it was delightful & much needed. Great company & when the sun one out everyone soaked up that vitamin D.
This article is brilliant! Which European wellness tradition would you like to take on? (For me it’s siesta all the way 😴).

❤️❤️❤️ this cool book is amazing. Such simple nutritiously delicious recipes. I’m not the biggest fan of cooking (I hate it) so want whatever I cook to be super simple. So this book is a dream!!! Admittedly it’s not mine it’s my housemate’s, but I might buy one of the others in the range so we can enjoy both. Won’t help the fighting over the oven though 😂
Happy Friday all. What plans do you have for the weekend?
