😎Ieri, durante la prima giornata dell'evento finale del progetto SUTRA, tenutosi a Caorle, ISIG ha facilitato un Focus Group sulle azioni pilota di mobilità sostenibile sviluppate in nove città italiane e croate.

😊I partner del progetto SUTRA hanno avuto l'opportunità di effettuare un'autovalutazione delle azioni pilota implementate, identificando i principali ostacoli nonché opportunità e fattori di successo.

💥Successivamente, i partecipanti hanno evidenziato azioni e strategie per affrontare gli ostacoli e le opportunità a diverse scale (livello locale, nazionale e transfrontaliero) e con l'aiuto di diversi attori.

🙌🏼Un grande onore per noi esser stati parte di questo grande gruppo di lavoro e un piacere aver partecipato a queste attività!

😎Yesterday, during the first day of SUTRA project final event, held in Caorle, ISIG facilitated a Focus Group on the sustainable mobility pilot actions developed in nine Italian and Croatian towns.

😊SUTRA project partners had the opportunity to carry out a self-assessment of implemented pilot actions, identifying major obstacles as well as opportunities and success factors.

💥Afterwards, participants highlighted actions and strategies to deal with obstacles and opportunities at different scales (local, national, and cross-border level) and with the help of different actors.

🙌🏼A great honor for us to have been part of this great working group and a pleasure to have participated in these activities!

📌 SUTRA project final meeting is 🔛

📍(PHOTO GALLERY) As part of the implementation of the SUTRA project, stations with electric bicycles as well as an e-charging station in Dugopolje were installed in the area of Split, Sinj, Solin, Klis, Otok and Hrvace. 🚲
➡️All equipment was co-financed by Interreg V A Italy-Croatia funds with the aim of supporting local self-government units in the development of multimodal and ecologically sustainable transport.

(FOCUS GROUP MEETING) ➡ Analysis of benefits and quality of pilot activities implemented within the project SUTRA (Sustainable transport in Adriatic costal areas and hinterland) with suggestions for improvement, possibilities of their application to other areas with an analysis of economic viability and advice for successful application inside and outside the program area of Italy and Croatia, were the main topics of the focus group meeting of the SUTRA project, held on February 9, 2023. 🔝
➡The discussion was lively and interesting with a series of constructive proposals focused on possibilities implementation of similar projects in the future.

➡️As part of the SUTRA project, the LP Municipality of Caorle (IT) is organizing the action "Caorle on Bike" on December 16 - the presentation of electric bikes for sustainable mobility.

➡️Presentation will begin in the EcoPark with the presence of representatives of the municipality of Caorle and in Piazza Veneto, from where the participants will take e-bikes 🚴‍♂️ to the pink hut dedicated to Giro d'Italia 2023 in Piazza Vescovado and return to Piazza Veneto and EcoPark.

➡️As part of the SUTRA project, the 9th Steering Committee (SC) meeting was held today, organised online by Chioggia Municipality.
➡️The meeting discussed the implementation of the project from the meeting in June 2022 and the plans until the end of the project in March 2023. They talked about project management and communication activities, about improving the existing local county transport through multimodal transport in the area of Split-Dalmatia and the cities of Poreč, Split and Vodnjan.
➡️There was also talk about the evaluation of pilot actions and proposals for sustainability, as well as the development of a smartphone application for easy access to multimodal transport.

Cilj ovog istraživanja je dobiti uvid u razmišljanja što većeg broja građana koji ovdje žive.
➡️Daljnjim proširenjem mreže biciklističke infrastrukture na području grada Splita popularizira se korištenje bicikala kao alternativnog oblika javnog prijevoza što je osnovni preduvjet za povećanje mobilnosti i kvalitete života građana i turista.

(SUTRA PP INTERMEDIARY MEETING)
On December 16th, the intermediate meeting of the SUTRA project was held online, necessary to be able to share all the important news regarding the pilot actions of the various partners of the project.
Finally, after the first delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, for many partners, public tenders and works on soft mobility infrastructures seem to have started.
We hope to see the fruits of our work soon realized.

(THE FIRST PUBLIC ELECTRIC MINI BUS IN CROATIA!) Of December 17, 2021, the first electric mini bus will run in Poreč, connecting Poreč settlements with the center and vice versa. This environmentally friendly public transport service was launched by the City of Poreč-Parenzo through the implementation of the EU SUTRA project, making it the first city in Croatia to operate an electric bus immediately after the introduction of the public transport service.

The 7th Steering Commitee Meeting of SUTRA Project has been started!

SUTRA online meeting has just started! We are all happy to share with project partners project progress! 🔝

The project (Sustainable traffic in the Adriatic coast and hinterland) was successfully presented by the representative of the Split-Dalmatia County Anton Hrgović at the workshop "Good practices in decarbonization of local road traffic and opportunities for local governments" held today, October 22, 2021 in Split . In addition to this, the projects E-chain, Intesa, Prismi plus and Blue deal were presented at the workshop.
The workshop was organized by the International Center for Sustainable Development of Energy Waters and Environmental Systems, Water and Environment (SDEWES Center) in cooperation with Split-Dalmatia County, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Styria Energy Agency, Koper Regional Development Center and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The workshop is part of the Alpe-Adria Clean Transport Alliance (AaCTA) project, funded by the European Climate Initiative (EUKI), which aims to strengthen local and regional authorities and civil society through training to better understand the role of the transport sector in energy transition and provide tools for decarbonisation of traffic.
