Farewell, friends! 👋

We have some sad news. We will not be doing any more episodes of Beyond the Lyrics. Sam is moving back to England at the end of this month, so we won’t be able to keep up the podcast.

We are so thankful for all your support as we tried this fun project together. We loved hearing the new music and your stories.

And just like that, Beyond the Lyrics has 2 full seasons!

What was different about season 2?

We started the well-loved rapid fire questions! These were random and silly questions that we got the artist to answer as fast as they could. It made for a lot of laughs 😂

We wanted to dig a little deeper this season. We asked some harder questions and tried to get into some of the challenges of being an indie artist that others would relate to. Thank for you all of our guests for sharing vulnerably with us!

The biggest difference might be how we have grown as hosts. We were SO nervous in the beginning and we have finally found ourselves comfortable being in front of the mic, without having to follow a script. When we were recording the intro to our last episode, Sam even forgot we were recording!
