Just a reminder that in 2 days, my cover of Starflyer 59’s song “Leigh and Me” will be simultaneously released, both as part of the tribute album “Major Awards” and also on its own.

It’s Bandcamp Friday once again, which means Bandcamp is waiving their fees and all sale proceeds go to the artists. I’m not asking you to buy my music—that’s up to you. And if you prefer to stream, that’s totally cool too. Just saying there are tons of great bands who have music on Bandcamp, and today’s a great day to let them know you care.

(Also, sincere thanks to those of you who have, quite frankly, surprised me by buying some of my tunes. It means more than you know.)

In just a few weeks, the digital version of the Starflyer 59 tribute album “Major Awards” will be released. It’s an honor to “share the stage” as it were, with so many talented artists and bands, including at least one that I’ve been listening to almost as long as I’ve been listening to Starflyer 59. I’m particularly excited to hear the 20 or so bonus tracks that are part of the digital version of the album.

It’s an enormous privilege to be part of this project. From the very beginning I knew which song I wanted to cover and what I wanted it to sound like, and I’m sure many of these other artists feel the same way about their own contributions. I cannot wait for this to be released into the world.
