The Senate yesterday confirmed U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Stephen R. Lyons, Joint Staff Director for Logistics (J4), as the next commander of U.S. Transportation Command here.

U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Commander, Gen. Stephen R. Lyons, welcomed Lt. Gen. Dorothy A. Hogg, surgeon general, United States Air Force, to our headquarters. During her recent visit she received a mission brief, and discussed aeromedical evacuation. Hogg also serves as the first Surgeon General of the U.S. Space Command.

Lt. Gen. Gary Volesky, I Corps Commanding General, hosts Gen. Stephen R. Lyons, Commanding General of U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), during part of his visit on to Joint Base Lewis-McChord and the Port of Tacoma. The I Corps staff provided an operations briefing outlining America’s First Corps capabilities and footprint to Gen. Lyons and Chief Master Sgt. Matthew M. Caruso, USTRANSCOM’s Senior Enlisted Advisor.

GEN Stephen R. Lyons, U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) commander and Chief Master Sgt. Jason L. France, the command's senior enlisted leader, received their vaccines today. They led from the front and want ensure everyone knows that the vaccines are safe and effective.
