huge thank you for all your good wishes.
Itโs my forever plus oneโs special day today.
This guy, Anthony Deans. ๐คฉ
Every year your birthday is the sequel to our anniversary. This one is super special.
Husband โ has survived 25 years and one day. ๐๐
Celebrating you - that on this day, someone extraordinary came into the world, and I couldn't be more grateful. ๐Here's to many, many more years of celebrating your birthday and our anniversary together.๐ฅฐ
๐I hope you see yourself the way I see you: a wonderful man, kind, smart, funny, compassionate, and loving. Good-looking, great father, and most importantly - my number one bottle opener...
Celebrations continue as I have a bottle waiting on ice. ๐ฅ
Love you. Happy birthday. ๐๐
27th March 1999 was a significant milestone for me... I married for the second time.
Today marks 25 years since that day.
Why is it significant?
The silver anniversary is important because it symbolises the strength and endurance of a couple's love and commitment to each other, as well as the growth and changes they have experienced together over the years.
It is also a time for reflection and appreciation of the past, as well as looking forward to continued growth and happiness in the future.
Celebrating 25 years with a great man, husband and father.
Thank you!
Learn one new thing each day to improve intellectual wellbeing.
Today I am researching the history of the word - Equinox.
Equinox comes from the Latin words meaning "equal night."
โEqual Nightsโ is the signal for changing seasonโs both in the north and southern hemispheres? That is the March โequinoxโ - when the sun crosses the equator from south to north. In Perth, Western Australia, that is today Wed, 20 Mar 2024. Happened at 11:06 am.
Equinox!
An annual astronomical event that marks the change of seasons across the globe. In the Northern Hemisphere, the March equinox signals the end of winter and the beginning of spring (which is why it's also called the โvernal equinoxโ, or spring equinox).
In the Southern Hemisphere, today marks the end of summer and the beginning of autumn.
Equinox comes from the Latin words meaning "equal night."
That's because, on this day and several days before and after, the length of daylight is almost exactly 12 hours in both hemispheres, with slight variations depending on your distance from the equator.

Notice the changing seasons. Savour the moment, whether you
are on a train, eating lunch or talking to friends. Walking on the beach....

'Mental Capital and Wellbeing: Making the most of ourselves in the 21st century', (2008).
A groundbreaking project that is still the main driver of Mental Wealth - Wellbeing policies all over the world.
This project lead to the development of 'actions' for wellbeing called : 'The Five Ways to Wellbeing'.
The actions lead to 'what behaviors' are needed for wellbeing : The 'Dimensions of Wellbeing'. Which are many.
My favourite is 'Intellectual Wellbeing'.
Becoming a life long learner...Keep learning!
Why Mental Wealth - Mental Wealth The Mental Wealth Project looked at the following critical areas relevant to society: children, adolescence, mental health, lifelong learning, work, and adults.
On a Wednesday, I usually do personal posts to friends and family.
Connections matter. Strong ties with family, friends, workplace colleagues and the community provide us with happiness, security, support and a sense of purpose.
A big part of 'Mental Wealth' - Being connected to others is important for our mental and physical dimensions of wellbeing and can be a protective factor against anxiety and depression.
This is the focus of the event I am sharing below. Mental Wealth matters.
I am personally inviting all of my connections to join me and the Mental Wealth Team Lorraine Donachie, Rick Smith Suhani Vaidya. Friday 22nd March. Check out the link below.

Have you googled yourself recently?
This time I found my profile on RocketReach. Now that is scary!
5 free lookups a year to find out an email and phone number.
Who knew????
Interesting to see the digital footprint you have have left behind over the years. In RocketReach my information has been collected and the data used to set up a business. I don't remember being asked. Or getting any of their profits.
I guess if it is out there in digital cyber space they don't need your permission.
2024 will be the year of just being myself.
Staying disciplined, committed and consistent. Perservering against all odds.
See you in 2024.

"It's not about the journey but the destination"
โฆWaldo Emmerson.
There is a place called Two Wells. It is a town approximately 40 kilometers north of the Adelaide CBD. The Port Wakefield Road passes nearby as well as the Adelaide to Port Augusta railway line.
This place represents a part of my intergenerational story... my grandparents lived there and are buried there.
My father and mother owned a market garden there.
I lived in the area until I was six years old.
I went to Two Wells Primary school for the first year of my school life.
The place has an interesting history too.
Two Wells Two Wells is named Two Wells due to the two natural and permanent waterholes there. A regular stop for all travelers. The original name of the township was the "Town of Two Wells" c.1850.
Two Wells was never officially declared a town until 1957 _when a private survey occurred and the council then declared it as such. And, it wasn't until 1990 that the boundaries were officially fixed.
This photograph was taken on one of my trips across the Nullarbor from the west. A timely reminder of how far I have come and where the journey has taken me so far.
The destination is still in my future.
We are having a Heat Wave. The heat has been the conversation for the last few days.
At Fremantle station at 6
30pm....had to take a photo from inside the car with aircon running. Too hot to get out.
Finally, at 7pm I stopped at beach. Cool breeze to cool me down on way home. It was just starting.
An extreme weather event happening in Perth, WA. Amazing sunsets...skies still full if smoke because of bushfires on 3 fronts. Not looking forward to the next 3 days.
Did you know that a Puffer Fish can be very poisonous alive or dead. Even a lick can be very toxic to your dog. Best to avoid this fellow at all cost. Even the seagulls won't touch it.
Cumulus clouds...a brilliant dispaly.
The Coral Princess is in Port of Fremantle today.

A vote of appreciation to Carers WA and all carers this week.
How do you know you are a carer?
Ask yourself the question:
Do I provide unpaid care and support to family members or friends who have an illness, disability, addiction, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail aged?
If the answer is yes! Then you are a carer.
Anyone at any time can become a carer. Contact:
Agree.
Not what I expected on AFL Grand Final day....a bonus solo beach walk. Now that is my kind of goal!
