Something good can still come out of Harvard. Imagine that.
There is a reason why NORMA KAMALI is featured in an article here: she is a true Amrican icon and a part of what I fall in love with this country all the time.
She is 78 and is as fresh as when she first started many years ago. Her brand is on point and she is doing it the tried and true way, the way she has always done: have a retail store, sell and design everything yourself, surround yourself with multigenerational staff placed in the right spots, and exploring and embracing the future now.
There are not many designers I would wish to be like, if any, but Norma might be the one. What an inspiration in almost all ways, for a small, honest and hardworking business - the backbone of America.
