Get 32oz Black/Green & Red/Yellow Cap Straps today
My dad bought the first Cap Strap in 2023. We fulfilled his order in our Cambridge apartment and dropped his order in the blue post box down the street.
One year later, we have been blown away by the support and excitement from this community. You've taken the Cap Strap far beyond what we imagined, and we've heard stories and seen pictures of the Cap Strap ascending wind turbines, rafting the Grand Canyon, climbing the Half Dome, and canoeing thousands of miles.
It's been awesome, and we would love to hear more! If you have photos or stories you would like to share, let us know on instagram and facebook, or send us an email at [email protected]
Thank you all for a great first year and we can't wait to see where the Cap Strap will go next!
Great picture from a Tahr customer in WA using the Cap Strap to stay hydrated on a big wall climb!
FYI - White/Purple and Green/Blue are back in stock and available now!
We're working hard on Narrow Mouth Black/Green and they should be available sometime next week
Testing out a shoulder strap carry for the Narrow Mouth Cap Strap - for short walks (or steep boot packs) it sure is nice to keep a water bottle out front and accessible!

Here's a snap shot of our sewing process. More Cap Straps of every color are in production, and it was great to stop in and see the amazing work being done by our sewing vendor. Cap Straps are cut and sewn entirely in the USA and we cannot wait to roll out our new sizes and colors!
Back with a regularly scheduled testimonial Tuesday!
Best buy this year
"This product is a game changer for carrying a Nalgene water bottle. I walk daily and use it every time. Gave one for my wife and she loves it too. Shared with my local outfitters too. Would definitely buy for other friends. Its a 10 star item."
Q: Where is the Cap Strap made?
A: The Cap Strap is designed and manufactured in the USA! The idea was born in the Grand Canyon and we are headquartered in Cambridge, MA.
Testimonial Time!
I'm annoyed by how much I love this product.
"This was one of my favorite purchases of this year. It's super functional, the colors are fun, and I don't break the lid straps anymore. I bought 2 and will probably grab more for friends and family!"
FAQ Friday!
Q: What type of sewing do you use?
A: We use a sewing technique called a bar tack to create the webbing loop. This creates an extremely strong connection point and is the industry standard for climbing equipment.
Q: What are the small loops for?
A: Anything and everything! We added them to offer additional flexibility for clipping to a backpack, creating a carrying sling, or securing small items. As one of our customers calls it: "a doppelhänger of sorts!"
Testimonial Tuesday!
Usefulness and innovation all in one clever product.
"Great product that allows me to use all of the Nalgene bottles that I own. Simple and effective"
FAQ:
Q: What is it made of?
A: The ring of the Cap Strap is made of powder coated aluminum allow, while the strap is a mildew/UV resistant polypropylene. The Cap Strap is designed to last for years of continued use!
Another Testimonial Tuesday...
Solid.
“A great way to rock your Nalgene. In a world suffused with stainless steel water bottles, it's nice to see a company not only making an accessory with a classic Nalgene bottle specifically in mind, but also doing a heck of a job with it. Yeah, this strap costs more than the bottle, but it's very well made. Should last a long time and it looks great”
Never lose a Nalgene on the slopes again!
How do you use your Cap Strap?
Q: How do I put it on?
A: The Cap Strap screws on! Simply unscrew the Nalgene cap and screw the Cap Strap on. The metal ring will sit under the threads with plenty of room for the Nalgene cap to screw back on.

Kicking off the new year with another Testimonial Tuesday!
Simple, but great product!
So simple, but well designed, the Cap Strap does exactly what it is designed to do. Great quality and materials and customer service is top notch.
Testimonial Tuesday!
"Works great. Lightweight. Love the color too"
We hope everyone is enjoying the holidays! Let us know how you use your Cap Strap?
Q: Why do I need a Cap Strap? Isn't there already a strap?
A: The Cap Strap is designed as a safer and more secure alternative to the current strap. The plastic strap is meant to hold the cap, and it can break if you put to much force on it. If you need to clip off your bottle with confidence — the Cap Strap is for you!
