Happy New Year you beautiful souls.

I remember looking at 30 as a kid and my life looked pretty different, but I'm so greatful for the life I have built.

In my time here, I've learned...
*I'm a little crazy, but most of us are and generally people love you despite it.
*You're never too old to chase your dreams.
*Depression is hard and it's real and it feels really good when you overcome it.
*You can dress up whenever and wherever you want, people just might look at you weird... But it's ok because they're probably just loving your outfit.
*Life is way too short to not spend it around people you love.
*Money is necessary and a certain amount of it will impact your happiness, but more of it will never bring you fulfillment.
*Smiling is always the best decision.
*People are often afraid to do so, but it feels REALLY good when you dance like no one is watching.
*Everyone has a different version of happiness, love, and joy... Stop trying to understand or control other people's and love them for who they are.
*Everyone is fighting a battle, we just might not be able to see them.
*Finding people who love you with all your weirdness is most important.
*Other people don't have to understand your feelings for them to be valid.
*Love is the best policy.
*I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded by my amazing family and friends.

And most importantly..

I have SO MUCH LEFT TO LEARN.

So many amazing things in the works for 30... LET'S FREAKING GO!

Some Mondays... Basically nothing goes according to plan 😂

Today was one of those days.

So I'm choosing to remember this lovely evening. I remember moments like this with my Dad growing up. He played... we danced and sang our little hearts out. Being able to create moments like that now... Everything!

These pictures can't possibly capture the joy in the room that night. I'm so unbelievably grateful to have moments full of SO much love like that.

I'm telling you what... The energy of these little ones could contest any live gig 💜

Who's feeling extra fierce this week?

I don't know about you guys, but I'm feeling all the motivation. I've spent the last few years learning, growing, practicing and now it's GO TIME!

Of course, the learning is never over, but I'm so stoked for all the music I have to share with you in 2022.

As I reflect on Independence Day this year, it has started to take on a new meaning to me. So many people have fought for our , but are we using it properly?

I heard a quote recently, "I am not who I think I am. I am not who you think I am. I am who I think you think I am." -Cooley

How often do we fail to step into our potential because we are too concerned with everyone's perceptions of us? Because we feel the need to fit into someone else's boxes...

It's a thing I struggle with far more often than I should and more often than people likely realize.

What is the beautiful impact you are meant to have on this world? I, for one, can't wait to see. Be kind. Lead with love. Most importantly, be you, authentically and unapologetically.

Let's stop focusing on the things that divide us and accept one another for the beautiful kaleidescope of diversity that we are.

Ummmm.... Next investment. I need one of these hats💜 All the sparkles!!

Serendipity.

Today, while my hubby taught a lovely yoga class we made some new friends... Music friends. With my Dad, with my husband, with our our new friend, we played and sang.

To play on the beach is magical, to play on the beach with fellow music lovers is even more special.

Passions are so beautiful in the way they bring people together. Aruba has and always will be the island for passions to come to life for us.

Our first trip here was filled with stories from those who had chosen to throw up the sails, to chase their dreams, to say yes to the whisper in their heart.

I think of their stories as I chase mine.
