Only freelanced this weekend so I’m sharing these lovely shots from an editorial a few months ago.

This week starts my full time floral season and I’m soooo excited. I work as an career tech educator at a high school there’s an overlap between school and wedding season in May and then again in September and October. I’ve gotten pretty good at pulling it off but it’s hard. No days off and both jobs are draining in different ways.

So I’m excited to have a few months to focus on my creative passion only and hope to have a few days of relaxation sprinkled in too. ⛅️

This upcoming week is going to be a doozy. A beautiful spring wedding on Saturday but you know we gotta give you all the blooms to spoil your mommas too! Flowered for a beautiful February wedding yesterday. A random off season event is always fun, refreshing, and helps me keep up with practicing design. We had a lot of fun with this couple who wanted to incorporate color rather than the typical white and green winter wedding. I heard a guest describe it as Spooky Chic at the end of the night and I absolutely love it. 👻

Shout out to my flower queens .floral and for their delicate helping hands! My life would be significantly more difficult and far more dull with out you both. And shout out to the absolute hero of sourcing .kennicott.gr. Last shout out goes to for exciting a flawless event! 💫

Highlights from Kate + Steve 🪴

Kate is honestly one of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met! Every part of her and Steve’s day was so intentional and purposeful. I really love events like this one, all about the love. 💕Also when she came to my house for a mock-up, my dog got too excited and ran out the gate and I had to go chase him down and it was v embarrassing. In home studio life I guess 🙃

I really think fall is the most magical time of the year. 💫🌾 Thank you .design for making this cozy fall vision of mine come to life! And thank you for capturing it beautifully! Morgan and I went to high school together. Reconnecting through people I haven’t talked to in years through flowering has been so rewarding and comforting. 😌 I’m currently flowering for my last full service wedding of the 2021 season. I’m exhausted. But in the best way.

I ran into someone a couple days ago and they told me I looked happy. It’s a compliment I don’t think I’ve ever received and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. They were right, I am happy! I feel much more confident managing my time and I’m feeling grateful for this present season of my life. I’m enjoying learning and growing in my art and starting to feel more confident about the knowledge I have regarding floristry. There’s been plenty of times in my life I’ve been not happy. Depression has had it’s hold on me just like many others. I’m thankful for the circumstances I’m in and the people around me that have made my cup full. Oh and local dahlia season helps with my happiness. I mean look at them! 😍🤤

Thank you Rachel and Charles for allowing me to flower for your special day! As you can tell, I had a blast. Here’s to a forever of joy and happiness!

This Mother’s Day I’ll be setting up shop at Terra Bagels in Eastown!!! Grab some flowers, coffee and bagels for the strongest people on this earth, the mamas!!! I’ll be there Saturday from 8:00am-12:00pm and Sunday from 8:00am-3:00pm or sell out.

We’re also partnering to provide you guys with the perfect combo of flowers and bagels! 🌸👩🏽‍🍳 Get a wrapped bouquet and a baker’s dozen of bagels with two schmears for only $50 when you get them together (normally $60). I put a lot of heart into this day. A lot of time. A lot of thinking. It started as a small idea and just kept growing and growing. .shay just sent me the full gallery and my heart is swooning. This was my first time curating my own concept and making it come to life. And it won’t be my last because I had so much fun! 🎉 I am so lucky to have found so many talented people who helped bring this idea to life.
