WHAT DEFINES A WOMAN?
A few years ago when I switched to freelancing to focus on my jelly art, my mom told me I made a decision she could not fathom. I was working in investment banking, while 3D jelly was just an emerging form of art acknowledged by a small community where I lived. Now that I’ve gone far enough to call myself an 3D jelly enthusiast, and managed to be financially independent thanks to what I’m doing, I regret none of my choice.
In 2020, a woman is independent, never stops learning, pursues her passion and shares her knowledge.
She should no longer be expected to take on a stable job and carry the homemaking and child rearing role alone.
When New Zealand PM got asked if it was “OK for a PM to take maternity leave while in office”, she slapped the reporter (with words of course) so hard it’s inspired so many women.
Now if I get ask something similar, I’ll tell them: “It’s 2020, man.”
Here to clear its name: Yellow rose represents friendship and optimism. It is the color that brings joy and warmth. Even though you don’t plan to give out yellow 🌹 for International Women’s Day, I’m just gonna leave these beautiful yellow roses here for reference.
