The Innovation award is given to a team that utilizes diverse resources for their Innovation Project to help them gain a comprehensive understanding of their problem, have a creative, well-researched solution and effectively communicate their findings to judges and the community.

Only four weeks until our MASTERPIECE FIRST LEGO League Explore Festival - our robots have their dancing shoes on!

Science for Life -Electricity, started today with lots of hair raising fun experiments on static electricity

Today our STEAM Unplugged kids focused on measurement, comparing tower heights- smaller, taller or the same height, then making predictions about length travelled as we built roller coasters using ramps of varying heights, before completing our record data sheets… so much quality learning with Duplo LEGO

🖌️🎨 Free Robotics programs these School Holiday’s🤖🔭
These school holidays we are delighted to partner with Berkeley Vale Neighbourhood Centre and the office for Regional Youth to offer three STEM Workshops for teens over 12 years.

The Office for Regional Youth’s Holiday Break program provides young people in regional NSW with the opportunity to enjoy a range of free activities to connect, socialise, learn new skills and have fun during the school holidays.

We have 3 different programs on offer
Robotics 101- an introduction to robotics
Tuesday 26th September from 9:30am-3:30pm

Robots at the Olympics- students will be vying for gold as they design build and code robots to complete a series of challenges- robots on balance beams, goal scoring robots, downhill sking and more
Tuesday 3rd October from 9:30am-3:30pm

Medieval Robotics- from a Paige to a Squirer to a Knight- do you have the skills to design code and build a robot to slay dragons, storm castles and rescue the captives?
Thursday 5th October from 9:30am-3:30pm

All bookings are being taken by the Berkeley Vale Neighbourhood Centre, to meet the grant requirements, so please call Kerrie on 4388 5801 to register.
