This book is beautifully illustrated from the textured front cover, through each rhyming page, with full colour illustrations, (often
double-page spreads), to the final pages of galaxies and gardens.

This book is a primer for inner peace which introduces readers to the ways in which mindfulness can help them connect to the world around them. Younger children are encouraged to listen, feel, relax, taste, touch, discover, smell, love, appreciate, and breathe as they live in the present, stay in the moment.

We love how each topic (double-page) spreads, allowing readers to linger with those individual elements and then put into practice as per suggestions. We also
found the book to be engaging through the use of questions. Questions were asked repeatedly that can give children the opportunity for discussion.

Our thoughts on this book:

Between the facts, illustrations and flip tabs this book is good for hours of reading and fun. I just adored how well laid out it was. It was designed to engage the reader and it does so flawlessly. I also loved that it covered the topic of endangered animals and ways to save the seas because it is never too early to become conscientious of ways to save the planet and the oceans and seas. This book teaches in a way that the reader can start at the front keep going to the end or jump around explore what is most interesting to them!

This book is very clever how it uses on side for the sadness and showing this in dark colours in the illustrations. And the other side is of happiness and this is shown using bright happy colours.

The crack is cut out throughout the book and gets bigger and bigger throughout and each illustration is centred around the crack but we can see how it can be used for their good or bad. Then at the end of the book we see the two sides of the page joining together as the we see the importance of telling others how we feel, how there is forgiveness surrounding kindness and how we can all come together to be happy. ❤️

Story is simple, but told with such imagination and heart that it instantly becomes a favourite. The longing and worry Eva feels for her lost pet is obvious.

Show your child how to make interesting shadows on the wall using the theme sticks. Switch off all the lights in a room except for one strong table lamp, then put the theme sticks between the light and the wall. You can make up a little story to show off the characters you create.

Helps to promote creativity and also encourage story telling abilities through the theme sets.

Book of the week - This Love

Love is a language that is understood and shared by people all around the world. Whether we're reading quietly with a loved one or playing on the beach with friends, all across the globe, the love we feel for one another is the same.

Launched a series of books and this is one of our favourite as we can related the words close to our hearts. So sing along while you read them out to your little ones. It will definitely be a joy. ❤️

The book is based on a song sung by Louis Armstrong and the illustrations just follow the beauty of the world. The colors of the world revealed. I recommend this book because beautiful illustrations and well written piece filled with bright colours.

Early readers can look at the words, how they align with the drawings to understand what it is about. It talks more about the world and surrounding rather than people. So let’s remember to love our Mother Earth as there is only one in this world that we live in. ❤️ Have a little more care for her, this goes a long way for future generations.

You can also incorporate the song with this book after reading it and get your little ones to dance.
