Looking back to one of our projects with chef extraordinaire of and his interpretation of a relaxed creative eatery offering not only beautifully plated dishes but DJ evenings and rotating art.

Kafeteria August is nestled behind a bustling street in the center of Oslo, a hidden oasis and true collaboration with the client and staff. A collaboration that led to a delightful mix of vintage, custom, and new furniture for the space.

This sense of symbiosis is also present in the choice of materials throughout, mixing common pine plywood and white tiles with rich marble and terrazzo finishes. A deconstructed ceiling is offset to classic paper lanterns. The finishing touches to the carefree ambience are realized through an eclectic blend of art, tableware and decorative objects.

Two years on and we´ve recently had the pleasure of re-visiting the project and seeing how it’s settled into daily use - and without a doubt we can recommend that you pop by for a visit for its delicious seasonal delights and atmosphere!

We are proud to share our latest project with , newly opened at . Now, you can enjoy green healthy food with a clear conscience at the new marketplace in the international terminal of Oslo Airport.

In an environment inspired by the fauna of the Oslo Fjord, the interior concept is a mix of natural colour tones and fresh materials that reflect LETT's origins and values. You will find subtle yellow partition walls made of corrugated metal and decorations of dried reeds and rushes. The table tops are made from recycled yogurt containers, and the panels in the counter are made from parts of discarded appliances, all developed by .

Furniture and tableware where selected based on their footprint and durability, including suppliers like furniture and sturdy enamel serving bowls from . We have continued our collaboration with for graphic design and branding and the unique illustrations by have been commissioned to create the large wall murals, to communicate LETT's values and products: handmade dishes based on local ingredients.

A collaborative effort that has resulted a concept that conveys LETT's values with a responsible and tactile quality.
