Having such a good time at the track with Blaze racing the dragster!
Enjoying a break out of the seat and getting to be a part of all the fun on the outside!
It helps that Blaze is a seriously good driver/racer and I have total faith in him!

Getting lots of questions as to why I’m not racing.. and the answer is.. I am totally happy to have a break!

So all though the Winternationals result was not ideal for us, there was plenty other things going on around the pits! My brother ended up winning the event, was awesome to see Rob running PB’s and getting his car sorted in Pro Mod, the Jett Racing Eclipse kept us all busy and was running consistent 6.30’s after some changes, then there was all the Junior kids!
Here are some general pics from the Winters showing the weekend that still was one to remember!

Car had no fuel pressure for some reason.. we don’t know why.. car basicallly just laid over 😖🤬
That’s us done.. time to enjoy the remainder of the event and cheer on my friends and family still racing!!

400 Thunder Championship Drag Racing announces - 400Thunder.tv

400 Thunder Championship Drag Racing has announced today 400Thunder.tv ....a new SVOD service for international fans to subscribe and watch the 400 Thunder Championship Drag Racing Series this weekend at the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals.

Off the back of its announcement with Kayo and Fox Sports as the host broadcasters domestically in Australia 400 Thunder have decided to launch its own “subscription video on demand” (SVOD) service for international race fans across the world who are unable to view the Australian Kayo broadcast.

Tony Wedlock, Chairman of 400 Thunder says whilst 400Thunder.tv will operate on a Pay Per event basis where fans can subscribe and watch each event live and on-demand commencing this week with the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals held on the 11-13th June 2021, it will expand to all events in the 2021/22 400 Thunder calendar and also host a range of other category and on-demand content moving forward.

400Thunder.tv is expected to go live for international race fans to secure their pass on Wednesday the 9th of June and can be accessed by visiting 400Thunder.tv.

Almost time to go racing again!!
I’m very much looking forward to running the Modified car again at the Winternationals 😃 I think it’s been around 9 years or so since I raced the dragster last at a Winters!
Should be a good time 👏☺️

Saturday was the first time back on track for me this year, and thanks to rain we only got 2 passes dam it!

I now look forward to running the dragster at the Winternationals as it’s been, I think 8-9 years, since racing in modified at the Winters!

We showed the dragster a bit of love today and replaced all the brakes which was well overdue!
Most people look forward to going fast, but i'm looking forward to stopping it 😝🤪

Planning to race the car at the next Track Championship round April 17, and then race the Winternationals in it.
Just keeping the seat warm until Blaze Hansen knee is good to go!

Cover: Kelly Corbett was certainly the Queen of the 2010 Castrol Edge Winternationals. Despite a dubious red light in the final, Kelly still won the Willowbank Track Championship, the Rocket Allstars Australia Modified Championship and the John Storm Memorial Trophy. Not a bad weekend's work really.

Well what a day yesterday was!
2020 has been a very strange year with everything happening a little differently, but Thankfully in Queensland we have still been able to compete in our Track Championship rounds!
It’s been several years since I was able to actually compete properly in the Track Championship series due to my commitments to the Jett Racing and LTFR teams.. as well as the dragster having some issues that we couldn’t seem to get on top of. So the car essentially was parked for 3-4 years.
This year with less other racing commitments we decided to run the car at the local rounds only in 2020. After having some success early on we soon realized we could make a run at the Championship!

It truly was a complete joy for me personally to get back into bracket racing with my friends and family... and enjoy the time being able to watch and be a part of all of our family and friends in Junior Dragsters racing for the title!

We got the Event Win yesterday and Took the Track Championship out by round 3!

Congratulations to Blaze and Pete.. this is all our Championship and you boys give me my strength, my calm, my determination and WE DID IT!!!
Thank you also Helen for being a part of the team all year, we have loved having you out there!

Congrats to Rustie for taking out the Junior Dragster Championship! He truly did so very good all year and we are super happy to see you take the title!!

And Scott Bettes Well... finishing 1 and 2 in the championship was pretty dam awesome!! You did well considering you missed an event! It was almost yours.. but we just got you! Hehe 🤗😝🤣

2nd last round of the Track Championship series was yesterday!
Definitely not one of my best days at the race track 🤣 turns out buying a house and moving in the weekend before, then racing with house brain is just not a recipe for success haha!
Reactions in the .030’s, 040’s & .060’s in modified will get you no where, but it’s all I had 😫 coming away with 1 win out of 3 rounds at least gave some help to the championship points.
Big congrats though goes to my Brother Scott Bettes for taking the win, and whipping my butt in round 2! He has bragging rights... for now 😈

I’ll never forget the feeling of kids coming to see me at the race track, having done a drawing for me ☺️ 🤗

Well we actually had a really really good quality days racing today! The local QDRC track championship rounds run as a Chicago shootout format and thanks to a little cherry on the tree I beat myself and only got 2 wins from 3 rounds dam it!
Car is going good after it’s little hiatus and we have an ok driver.. most the time 🤪😉
It’ll all come together sometime soon!
