Mental wellness is a challenge that many people in our world are confronting right now. Certainly many I speak to are feeling an increased stress as a result of an inexplicable increased sense of isolation as the ‘community’ around focus on their individual needs and push their own agendas. It appears to be the post- COVID ‘new norm.

To this end I post and participate in this activity - if only to build awareness.

Blog-type post - Q&A

A lot of people I know have been asking me why they feel disconnected…Maybe this perspective may help…

I think you are not alone - a lot of people feel disconnected or disjointed. As everything is connected the energy or impact of what is happening impacts a person/ people/ a community whatever…but it means we are connected to the change in some way. As mentioned the energy around us has not yet settled…this means (this year) that we know more change is on its way. This knowledge makes us restless.

At this time some people are learning from the experience and their energy frequency is increasing. As this happens these people will notice changes in many relationships they have. For example, as mentioned in class, those fighting the shifts remain at their ‘normal’ energy whereas those using the experience to learn will have heightened energy, and a different state of mind. This means that those we once trusted, accepted, believed, hung out with….will fall away. To a lot of people this can be challenging. Disconnecting.

At the same time those similar will attract new people to them also. In a sense it’s knowing that the ‘no man’s land’ won’t last forever.

In the meantime we can try to maintain supportive connections by find people and activities that are kind to us…

Today is the start. The re - start.
Feeling blessed to transition to a new amazing place to reignite my creative - and B.Authentic.Me 🍀🙏🏻

I can’t help but acknowledge the coincidence that exactly 19 years ago with enthusiasm and excitement I moved into my first property here in Queensland.

And after much re - forming (learning)…and 19 years later - to this very day - the Universe provides me another ‘fresh start’….or rather brings me closer to my purpose armed with greater understanding, knowledge and resourcefulness to re - start.

And whilst I may not always get the next steps ‘right’ I know I am moving the right way forward.

I am excited.

BAM blog: Regrowth, reset, reestablish

Today was a magnificent introduction for our first VinYin at Binna Burra. We chose a most auspicious site - a site that hasn’t yet been opened to the general public - and allowed this expanse to support the October energy. This energy is to share awareness to heal wounds and support others - and nature - who may be ‘stuck in the past’, to let go. We each ‘planted’ a healing crystal to set the intention for our practice 🙏🏻

These are some sneaky snaps of our time together.

Next Sunday I will be offering 7:30am VinYin with the Binna Burra Birds (meeting at the activities centre); and 9:00am Hatha Vinyasa at the Beechmont markets (in the demountable old school room). For our ‘locals’ and B.Authentic.Me friends each class is $15, or this first week $20 for both classes 🙏🏻

Please arrive slightly earlier to complete COVID related paperwork.
