Welcome to the knitchen! My name is Elizabeth, and I’m the knitter behind the page. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was a little girl, using two dull pencils and a skein of purple Red Heart yarn. It wasn’t until I was a teenager that I really got into knitting. I find the activity therapeutic and the results rewarding. I aspire to be able to knit my own designs to share with others and provide the respite found in following a pattern that has been a blessing to me for so many years.
