Perogies Ukrainian Folk Art
Ukrainian folk art inspired designs and images on a variety of products. Ukrainian folk art and folklore have been the inspiration for my products on ZAZZLE.
Lately I have been creating fantasy characters, imaging what can go on in the woods of the Carpathian Mountains and the superstitious inhabitants. All photography in my store is by Kathryn Trembach. All art work and photography are under copyright, all restrictions apply.

Such beautiful craftsmanship!
🏵This decorative wood-carved Hutsul vase is from Kosiv district, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, Galicia historical province.
It has three pieces that fit together to make a tall wooden flower vase. The main large horizontal design band features two alternating motifs that appear three times each and have inlaid beads, mother of pearl, painted wood, and copper.

So beautiful!

I'm just loving these colours.
People often ask me for advice on how to find their own style and individuality. To be honest, I don’t know the perfect recipe. I can share my experience and thoughts, and perhaps it will help someone.
1. Don’t be afraid to experiment. Try new techniques, color combinations, and materials. Experiments can lead to unexpected discoveries and help you find a unique style.
2. Practice regularly. Create as much artwork as possible. The more you paint, the faster you will develop and find your style.
3. Immerse yourself in visual experiences. Visit museums, beautiful places, and nature. Anything that can bring new ideas and inspiration is critically important for creative people.
4. Listen to yourself. Your style should reflect your individuality and what you truly enjoy. Don’t try to imitate someone else just because their work is popular.
Finding your artistic style is a journey, not a destination. Keep exploring, stay true to yourself, and your unique voice will emerge naturally over time. Trust the process and enjoy the creative adventure.
Pysanka writing at its finest, for sure.
