Introducing our Luxury Bookish Christmas Crackers box!

Celebrate Christmas with style with these festive bookish themed Christmas crackers. Each set comes with 6 handmade crackers filled with the classic party hat, a book themed item or sweet treat, and a bookish joke and charades card.

These make a lovely addition for the Christmas table and a great way to treat your-shelf (see what we did there? Okay, I promise, there will be much better jokes inside the crackers)

Goodbye from Books by Nature!

After a fantastic year of launching the bi-monthly book boxes, it's time for us to close the doors to Books by Nature.

From brainstorming my small business idea in 2020, it first began as a passion project that I started for fun. I didn't expect to make many sales, so I was surprised when people actually showed interest! From the pre-launch box in December to our last Cozy Classics book box, I've had so much fun curating special themes and working with lovely people along the way to make my ideas happen. It is with difficult decision to finally close Books by Nature.

Therefore, I would like to thank everyone who has supported my small business, whether you've purchased a product, shared my posts on social media, or simply dropped a like. Especially to my followers who reached out with such kind words and support. Also, thank you to the publishers, authors, and small businesses that helped bring the boxes to life! It was fantastic to be able to collaborate with people who love books as much as I do.

Lucky Dip Boxes have been listed on the website which are the very last products we will be selling. Lucky Dip Boxes are filled with plenty of past-box items and other shop products such as books, bookish goodies, and little extras for only £13 including free delivery. I'll be putting in a free bookmark with every order too. (These are very limited as none of the items will be re-stocked after this.)

Hi everyone!! It's been such a long time since I've been active that everything's been pretty much forgotten. Time has flown by 😮

But good news! My shop is back for just a little while 🎉🎉

Just a quick update of where I have been - I have just finished my undergraduate degree and graudating university this July!! This was mainly the reason why I had to take a break but all that hard work is over now, phew.

So news about Books by Nature- this business journey has been amazing and so much fun but in all honesty, I am not entirely sure where my little business is heading in the future. As of now, the bi-monthly boxes are still on hold for now until further notice.

But what I do know is that I have plenty of stock left over - I've recently gone through my office space and found so many items (turns out I love over-spending waayyy to much). So for a short time only, I've listed a bunch of new product bundles. I've also listed mystery boxes at an even cheaper price, and there are also a couple of past boxes heavily reduced as I'm trying to clear everything and make way for new things! (You'll probably notice the shop is a lot emptier now)

Having said that, I do love creating bookish merch so hopefully I can move things over onto my own Etsy store and start afresh 😊

Hey guys! You might have noticed that I haven't posted news about the next bi-monthly book box. Unfortunately, I have been crazily swamped with work and commitments lately. And as a one woman show, it's been super difficult trying to plan for the boxes at the same time. Due to this, unfortunately the February box is not going to go ahead as planned. However, don't fret, as I'm hoping that everything will be back up and running in time for the April box!

Please read on if you have purchased a December 'Cozy Classics' box:

Hi everyone! Unfortunately I have bad/good news. I have been having problems with the condition of the books that they arrived in, being scuffed around the edges. Therefore, I ordered replacements from the supplier, but they too arrived imperfect. I now have ordered THREE replacements to date to find them all in the same condition! 😟 This is really frustrating for me as I don't like to send anything off that is less than perfect. And as a picky book lover myself, I know that I wouldn't be satisfied. At this point in time, it is too late to return the books and find a different supplier.

As a result, the good news is that I will be now including TWO of the hardback classic novels from the Wordworth Collectors Edition Range in each December box as I had ordered enough spare copies for the number boxes sold currently, and limiting the number of remaining boxes on sale on the website. Please accept this apology on my behalf. Of course, if you are unhappy with this solution, I am more than happy to offer a refund 😊

Again, I am really sorry for this but hope this will compensate. The box will still be the same, full of festive and cozy goodies and a yummy vegan sweet treat. The 'Golden Ticket' event is still running too, so if your box has yellow shred inside, you have won a FREE book!

QOTD: What is your biggest book pet peeve?

I absolutely hate when books in a series are a different size so that they don't fit nicely on my bookshelf 😫

This is Burn by Patrick Ness. I recommend this book if you love fantasy! It is about a world where dragons and humans live together, and a strange prophecy involving an assassin, a cult, and a human girl. Luckily this book is in line with most of my hardbacks 😆

Hey everyone! Today marks the grand opening of Books by Nature one year ago! 🎉🎉

This year has gone incredibly quickly and I am so grateful for those who have supported my business over the year whether you are a new customer or old. Never would I have thought a year ago that I would be running my dream small business. We are currently on our 6th bi-monthly book box and our 7th would mark the year. (P.S we have some special things planned for the December box 🤩)
