Being constantly proud of your partner is a marvelous feeling. I couldn't imagine going on this acting and writing journey with anyone else. 🏳️🌈
What's that? A writer who lives alone with her 2 cats and an air fryer? My three babies.
A little throwback to my first ever Theatre performance. I played Bobbi in the Norm Foster play, Hilda's Yard. 🎭
How do you think your younger you feels about your current you? I reckon mine would be proud 🥹🥰 (and a little confused!)
Where do you go when you have a creative block? For me, it's the ocean. 🌥🌊🌅

A special moment caught on camera. One last 'ommmm' in the dressing room with my brilliant cast.
Getting lost in a bookshop was a dream come true. Luckily, I found some stairs to the exit!
Come buy Billy Senses The World today at market! 😍📖🪲 .
Billy Senses The World is a children’s book that helps normalise visual impairments. My books will always help children and adults to understand mental and physical disabilities and to end the stigma of them in children’s literature.
A throwback to first ever headshots when I was 18. 🥹 12 Years on and we're finally doing it kids!

What do you do to help ease your anxiousness? 🐜🤨 For me, as a proper British person, a nice cup of tea always helps to calm me. I’d love to hear what you guys do too!

I tried to wait for an Ant to crawl by, but I guess they were all too anxious...🐜
Throwback to when I was still illustrating Andy The Anxious Ant in June 2020. 🐜
I love a good market and can't wait to do more. With my trusty market jumper, we can achieve anything! 🌈
Notes from an author: Don’t rush the process. 📕

Hi, I’m Steph and I’m the creator of Daxo Kid’s Books. I write and illustrate children’s books and the biggest trouble for me is when the creative part of my brain shuts down. Sometimes I go weeks or months without a good creative thought and I know many creatives get the same thing. The dreaded block. My advice to you is to try not to rush yourself. The best things are worth the wait and you’ll get there when you’re supposed to 😊
Writing our next few books 📕 📚 It’s taking a little longer than normal, but a good cup of tea helps!
