Chariton Instrumental Music

The first Vredenburg Concert Series concert is quickly approaching! Here Comes the Sun is set to perform on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 7:00 PM. The concert is in Johnson Auditorium. Price of admission is $15 for adults and $5 for Students. Season tickets can be purchased from the Chariton Chamber office, or Piper’s. Season tickets are $50 and include admission to all five shows this season!

Congrats to the CHS Concert band for their awesome large group performance! They received a Division II rating. Go chargers!

Congratulations to Buck Acuna for being selected as an Honorary Member of the 11 & 12th Grade SCIBA Honor Band. He was one of two selected for the Bari Sax position. The panel selected 46 members total. This is a huge honor and an incredible accomplishment. Congratulations, Buck!

Please join us virtually for our Winter Concert on Monday, December 7th, at 7:00pm! The CHS Winter Concert will be a combined concert with the CHS Concert Choir and the CHS Concert Band. Because of the large number of music students social distancing in Johnson Auditorium, there unfortunately is no room for a live audience, as the ensembles will be spread throughout the stage and seats. However, we ask you to tune into our Facebook live stream to watch these musicians perform! Live streams can be found on the Chariton Instrumental Music, and Chariton Vocal Music pages.
