Juggling between work and family is a tightrope walk, isn't it? 🎪 As a mom and entrepreneur, I've had my shares of ups and downs in finding that sweet spot. That is why I want to share some tips on how to harmonize your work and personal life to maximize your happiness and success. 🌟
💜 Set Boundaries
Setting clear boundaries between work and personal time is crucial. 🧘♀️ Decide on specific work hours and stick to it. When it's family time, keep work-related tasks out of sight and mind. This helps to maintain a healthy balance.
💜 Prioritize Tasks
Not everything on your to-do list needs to be done immediately. 📝 Learning to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance helps to manage time effectively. Tackle high priority tasks when you are most productive.
💜 Delegate and Outsource
You don't have to do everything by yourself. Delegate chores at home and outsource tasks at work whenever possible. It's all about finding more time to focus on your priorities and spend quality time with family. 🤝
How is your year going so far?

Have you ever felt shame of wanting a career outside of the home?
I want to tell you it's okay! Finding your balance as a family is what is important
Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed out? I've been there too, and I'd like to share some strategies that have worked for me in managing stress.
📝Start by keeping a mood journal. Understand what triggers your stress and anxiety - it's the first step to managing them.
🏃♀️ Incorporate physical activity into your daily routine. It's a natural mood booster that can help combat anxiety, depression, and lift your self-esteem.
🚧 Set defined boundaries - it's crucial in preventing burnout.
🥗 Nourish yourself - carefully choosing what you eat can provide the energy your body and mind need to function and recover daily.
There are countless ways to bounce back from burnout, and these are just a few that have worked for me. 🤝 If you're struggling to overcome your challenges alone, don't hesitate to seek help from a mental health professional. Life can be tough, but remember, we're all in this together!
There I was ....
Once again hiding from my kids.
If they catch me they will want some too.
But I just needed a minute of peace and a fix of chocolate...
I hate chocolate syrups because they include tons of sugar and other ingredients that I'm not a huge fan of.
So I grabbed my Date Lady chocolate spread (which tastes amazing) and a spoon, and headed out to the closet for a quick bite.
It worked... I got a minute of quiet, got some chocloate, and was feeling great in no time!
I love knowing the ingredients are simply... dates and cocoa... that's it!
It's filled with magnesium too. So it really can't be that bad... right???
Grab some Date Lady chocolate spread of your own with my code; Christen15 to receive 15% off!
Grab it straight from her store so you support the small business and not the middle man...
You will be so glad you did!

Embrace this powerful thought today - "If the brain can get worse by constantly focusing on the problem, then the brain can get better by understanding how to eliminate and replace the problem." - Caroline Leaf
This quote beautifully encapsulates what I believe and coach about mindset in business. The problems and challenges you face in your entrepreneurial journey and life itself can feel overwhelming, but remember this - your brain is an incredibly powerful tool. 🧠✨
Instead of dwelling on the problem, let's focus on finding the solution and replacing the negative with positive and productive thoughts. So, are you ready to retrain your brain towards success? 🌟

How food is prepared is important!
I recently had a conversation with someone who was trying to convince me that the food prep information about a certain restaurant I was giving him was untrue.
My response was, "Well, it's straight from the ingredient list on their menu, so I'm not quite sure how untrue it is... unless they publish untrue information on their website, which wouldn't be a wise business move!"
The website claimed, "Healthy and Natural Ingredients."
Here are just a few of the items in the food and what it is cooked with:
TBHQ, (spray preservative found in 27 items on the menu, including french fries)
BHA (Found in some bulk vegetable oils, possible endocrine disruptor, and possible carcinogen)
Soybean oil (typically processed with hexane, increases inflammation and cancer risk)
The list continues.... but I won't waste your time with ALL of the ingredients we shouldn't consume because our livers are just unable to process it.
Whatever happened to make French Fries with potato, avocado oil, and some sea salt like our grandmothers did?
Let me know if you want more information about ingredients in our food and/or personal care products.... in the comments, and I will put you on my list.
It's 2024! Time to stop taking it personally when someone says "No" to your product or service.
That is their personal preference!
That is a scarcity mindset!
Start operating in an abundance mindset instead of scarcity.
In an abundance mindset, you know that there are plenty of people out there that will LOVE your product or service!
Be confident in your offer!
Just because some say "NO"... understand they just aren't right for you or your team!
Be their friend but respect their "No"
if you agree!
5 things that you can do in 2024 to make sure it is healthier than 2023!!
Burnout.
We’ve all heard about it, especially recently.
But what really is burnout?
By textbook definition it is a form of exhaustion one feels by constantly being swamped.
But in reality, it feels like losing interest in the things you love. Not having the motivation to get out of bed and make your dreams happen. You feel like you’re in a constant rut of unproductivity.
Burnout can manifest differently for each person so if you want to overcome and move past that feeling, it is important to get to the root of WHY you’re burned out.
A great way to start is by identifying the cause…
👎 Overload Burnout
This happens when you work harder and harder, becoming frantic in your pursuit of success. If you experience this, you may be willing to risk your health and personal life to feel successful in your job.
👎 Under-Challenged Burnout
This happens when you feel underappreciated and bored in your job. Maybe your job doesn’t provide learning opportunities or have room for professional growth. If you feel under-challenged, you may distance yourself from your job, become cynical, and avoid responsibilities.
👎 Neglect Burnout
This happens when you feel helpless at work. If things aren’t going right, you may believe you’re incompetent or unable to keep up with your responsibilities. Such burnout can be closely connected to imposter syndrome, a psychological pattern in which you doubt your skills, talents, or accomplishments.
However your burnout manifests, there is one thing in common… it can be defeating. The recovery process can be a long and arduous road, but we are here to do it together!
Finding your forward momentum when it comes to your business can be really hard... ESPECIALLY when you have every other aspect of life to deal with!
But I have the just thing to help you keep focus and really see success this year...

How often do we talk about detoxing?
Is it a daily or yearly event for you? 🤔
A detox isn't just for our bodies - it's for our minds, our relationships, and our daily routines too! Sometimes, the most empowering thing you can do is to cleanse your life of negativity and make room for positivity and growth. If you're feeling bogged down or exhausted, remember - it's okay to take some time for self-care and rejuvenation.
You're not alone on this journey, and I am here to support you! Let's start this week with a fresh mindset and a lighter load. 💪🌟
"If you can't, you must. If you must, you can." 💫
This saying holds a special place in my heart, reflecting my journey of establishing a business while balancing family life.
Moments of self-doubt were numerous, times I believed "I can't". Yet, I understood I "must" to create the life I envisioned for my loved ones and myself. 🌈💪
Each time you encounter an "I can't", remember it's a chance to tell yourself "I must".
Embrace this belief and, trust me, you'll discover that you indeed "can".
Pushing past comfort zones is how we grow, evolve, and surprise ourselves with our capabilities. 🚀✨
So, to every woman entrepreneur reading this, recall this quote in challenging times.
Your 'can'ts' are really your 'musts', and within your 'musts', you'll uncover your 'cans'. Continue to shine, grow, and always remember - you got this! 💖👑
Keeping focus when it comes to your business is crucial if you want to get stuff done!
Today I want to share with you what I do to help myself keep focused and make sure my business is like a well-oiled machine...
Happy New Year!!!
A new year means it's time for new goals...
These can be big or small.
Short or long term.
But having something to work towards and strive for can create a drive in you that you may not find otherwise...
So, I'm curious: what is your goal for 2024? Let me know in the comments! 👇
It's almost a new year!
That means i's time for a new set of jobs for the kids to do.
I love changing things up for them and for me...
They LOVE that they get to pick which job they do on which day.
Here is how we did it this time:
1. I wrote all the jobs that need to be done on a weekly basis on a list
2. They got to pick which job they did on which day, and I put it on their chore chart
3. There are 3 jobs that need to be done daily (feed chickens, take out compost, take out trash). I rotated these jobs between the 3 kids that are able to help out (the baby doesn't have chores yet)
This alleviates some of the day-to-day arguing about who does what, and then the expectations are clear ahead of time.
My 11-year-old said, "Thanks for letting us pick our jobs!"
Have you ever paused and pondered on this gem by John C. Maxwell -
"The secret of your success is determined by your daily agenda"?
It's a gentle reminder that our daily actions shape our journey to success. As a network marketer and coach, I've seen the power of a well-planned day, not just in my business, but in carving out much-needed family time too.
Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions, mama!
Ever wondered about the term 'residual income'?
Let me simplify it for you. Residual income is the income you keep earning even after the work is done. It’s not tied to the number of hours you put in, but the effort you put into creating something valuable that keeps paying you long after you’ve done the work! 💰
Now, let's reflect for a moment. What does residual income mean to you? 🤔 Imagine earning while you’re spending quality time with your family, or while you’re on vacation, or while you’re asleep, or even during the holidays! It means freedom, the freedom to live life on your terms, to have control over your time and financial future.
Feel free to share your thoughts below. And remember, you have the power to create a life of abundance and freedom.
Merry Christmas from my family to yours! 🎁🎅🎄
What is your favorite holiday tradition?
I had a great career in public schools.
We had my steady income and health insurance.
But something inside me was stirring...
I was frustrated with the food system.
I couldn't stand what kids were fed each day at school.
I didn't like the chemical cleaners they were exposed to.... nor myself!
Especially since I was the behavior specialist.
I saw so many kids have horrible behavior issues after eating junk food for breakfast.
Then, I smelled the chemical cleaners as I walked about the building knowing they were slowly poisoning everyone.
I wanted something different for my kids... and myself!
So despite us not being sure if we could handle the financial impact of me quitting my job...
We did it.
I'm so grateful 🙏
But I've found a way to contribute financially to our family. So a 1 year leave of absence turned into almost 8 years now!!!
Financially, it isn't just a small something that I contribute.... it's much bigger than that!
The best part... I get to help others do the same!
if you want to get started!
Throughout my years of working with my company and building my business to help others follow their dreams… one of my most frequently asked questions is HOW to build a team that will be long-lasting and successful!
So today, here are my 3 SIMPLE TIPS to close more sales and build a big team...
1. Learn to identify people's pains and understand how you can help them solve them... rather than just trying to move products. Look for their needs, not their debit cards.
2. Become the solution to their problems. This should be your main focus… REMEMBER It's not about you, and it never will be… Creating solutions and building TRUST with people is the lifeblood of your business. Ask questions like...
“What has you looking for other ways to ____?” They will tell you what’s important to them...and that’s what you need to solve.
3. Learn to sift and solve. NOT pitch! Don’t expect unskilled people to build your businesses, build the people first. When you build people...the business will take care of itself.
BONUS THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE:
BUILD or get a DUPLICATABLE process & strategy for EVERY aspect of your business…
From the mindset to influence marketing.
How to attract and keep track of leads and what to do with them once you attract them.
How to find their needs and solve their problems.
Lastly, and most importantly, AUTOMATE everything that you can. Automating in the beginning will give you more time down the road to focus on your team and helping them flourish!
Remember new companies get old, new markets are eventually perceived as saturated… New products are hot until they are not… and if your focus is any of these, it’s not going to be sustainable.
Isn't it remarkable how our journeys shape us? 🌟 I love this quote by Eric Worre, "The greatest benefit isn't getting what you want. The greatest benefit is what you'll need to become in order to get what you want." 💫
As we strive towards our dreams, we evolve, learn, and grow in ways we never thought possible! 🌿 The real treasure is not the goal achieved, but the person we become en route. 🦋
So, dear ladies, remember - the grind, the hustle, and the challenges you face while building your business, they are all shaping you into a stronger, wiser version of yourself. 💪💜
What task do you have in front of you that seems impossible?
This last pregnancy was a doozy on my body!!
Please don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful for our little baby caboose, but between the morning sickness (lasting the entire day requiring vitamin infusions) and a major back injury at 6 months pregnant, I wasn't able to keep up my normal workout routine like I was with the other babies.
I knew it was going to be tough to get back into a normal routine, but now... 9 months post partum, I finally feel like I've healed enough to start to get my strength back!
I went to my first workout class in quite some time.
It was strange because it used to be me teaching the workout classes.... now I'm a student 💪
Somedays, this task seems a little like climbing Mt Everest...
But I'm excited about the journey!
What task do you have in front of you that seems impossible, but you're going after it anyway?
It's that time of year again!
Bugs, viruses and the works are running amuck, but there are ways you can keep you and your family protected and feeling good!
