Former Rep. Greg Gilday
I am a husband, father of 2, attorney, entrepreneur, and former State Representative (WA-10).
I would like to thank the Everett Herald for its recent endorsement of my re-election.

Editorial: Herald now endorses Gilday for 10th District House | HeraldNet.com Because of misrepresentations made by Clyde Shavers of his resume, his endorsement is rescinded.
My opponent recently made a statement trying to “set the record straight” on his FB page, so I thought I’d take a minute to respond to him:
Clyde, your recent criticism of me needs a response.
First, you’re straight up lying about my views on abortion and healthcare. You’ve been in the forums with me. You know I will always defer to the voters on this question. Politicians shouldn’t lie about abortion, especially male politicians.
Second, you’ve said dozens of times that you served on a submarine. Your website said this. Your resume said this. Local veterans say you never served on a submarine and are lying. Posting that you attended one sub school isn’t proof you were ever on a sub. Now I see you changed your website – you no longer say you were on a sub. That seems like an admission of guilt.
Third, no one cares that you failed the bar exam. What matters is you said you were an attorney when you are not. That’s a gross misdemeanor crime. You made a sworn statement you worked as an attorney, and your campaign materials refer to you as an attorney. You are not an attorney. Failing the bar is nothing compared to lying about being an attorney.
Fourth, you mention how I forced Stanwood to pay me. You must have missed the day in your Constitutional Law class when they went over Eminent Domain, and how the government is constitutionally required to pay just compensation when it takes someone’s property.
Fifth, you are wrong when you assert I sent out this hit piece against you. The mailer you refer to was sent by Evergreen Progress, and while you may illegally coordinate with third party expenditures, I do not. I did not have anything to do with this mailing. I will also note that while you claim to want less divisiveness in politics, your own campaign is the only one in this race that has sent out a hit piece.
Finally, the truth is now known. Even local Democrats are complaining to me about how you’ve said party insiders told you to carpetbag to our district so you can be president someday.
You're not from here. You're not for here. You have a home in Kirkland, you’re registered to vote at a vacation rental. You have a job waiting for you in Seattle when the election is over.
You’ve got some serious issues if you think you can keep lying. You’re caught. Just stop.
-Greg

Beautiful day to be in Olympia for meetings!
Had the opportunity to tour Diking District 7 (northwest of Stanwood) with Sen. Ron Muzzall, the Mayor and City Administrator of the City of Stanwood, and members of some of the local diking districts. There is a lot of work that needs to be done to reinforce our diking system to protect the City of Stanwood and surrounding farmlands.
Here is a story that recently ran in the Stanwood Camano News: https://www.goskagit.com/scnews/news/stanwood-seeking-money-to-pay-for-dike-repair-flood-prevention/article_3217bc96-0a38-5142-b2fb-6e5eafbfb546.html
Hot dogs, ice cream, yummy treats, live music and demonstrations... Stanwood PD has been working hard to make it a fun night for all!
I had the opportunity to be on the Jason Rantz show yesterday to talk a bit about my race and where our state should be headed. Below is the link - I start at 14:20.
Hour 3 - Recession - The Jason Rantz Show The Monologue: Are we or aren't we in a recession? The Monologue: Man accused in threats to kill Rep. Pramila Jayapal charged. Will she finally change her tune on defunding police, ending cash bail, and going easy on criminals? Probably not. The Interview: Rep Greg Gilday (R-WA10) says a lot is on t...

Another Public Safety Endorsement! Thank you Washington State Fraternal Order of Police for your support!
I’m pleased to be endorsed by APTA Washington – a great org that represents physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and their students in WA.
I am honored to receive an endorsement from the Washington Council of Police and Sheriffs (WACOPS). I am proud to support law enforcement and first responders in Olympia and will continue to do so when re-elected.

Happy to sponsor state funding for this wonderful organization working on a great project!
We had our LD 10 Town Hall last night, and you can watch it below. Unfortunately, due to some technical difficulties, the sound doesn't pick up until around the 19th minute.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
I had a wonderful time touring Andy’s Place in Everett this morning with Sen. Muzzall & Rep. Kloba.
Andy's Place is a new, 46,877 square-foot, multi-unit building on a formerly vacant parcel on the northwest corner of Compass Health's Broadway Campus. The five-story building includes 82 units of housing – doubling the number of Compass Health's housing units in Snohomish County.
Proud to be a member of this Covid Class of community servants!
As Rep. Abbarno mentioned, the fundraising freeze starts next Friday, December 10th. If you'd like to support my re-election, you can donate here - http://greggilday.com/donate/
The legislative fundraising freeze begins next Friday, December 10th. Consider supporting a great group of newly elected Washington State House Republicans. We need to re-elect all of my colleagues and more to change the course of our state, end the monopolization of our government, and deliver accountability and transparency back to the people.

I had a great time touring the South Whidbey School District facilities this morning!
Below is the 10th District Ferry Town Hall recording in case you weren’t able to attend it live.
Rep. Peter Abbarno said today he plans to introduce a bill for the 2022 legislative session that would repeal the Democrats' new long-term care insurance program and payroll tax. In drafting the legislation, Abbarno says the new state program provides false hopes and forces some to pay who will never receive a benefit.
