Bereavement Counselling Partnership practice of Relational Counselling
The law has changed in the UK.
If your partner dies before you reach the state pension age, you may be due bereavement support payments. While this help was previously only available if you were married or in a civil partnership, a recent law change means cohabiting parents are newly eligible and can get backdated payments worth £10,000s. But you only have until 8 February 2024 to claim this backdated support.

October the 9th marks the starting of Baby Loss Awareness Week. Serving as a reminder to the pain of losing a family member and acknowledging the impact left on our hearts, no matter at what stage. The loss of a baby, leaves a permanent mark on the lives of those who are unfortunate enough to endure it.
Relational Counselling is honouring and remembering those lives that were gone too soon in the Wave of Light event on Sunday, the 15th of October at 7 pm. Lighting a candle in remembrance of the babies we've lost, creating a collective wave of light across the world. Through this event, we acknowledge the strength and resilience of those who have experienced this form of loss, and offer support in our shared grief.
Join us this Sunday at 7 pm by posting your picture of a lit candle using the hashtag . Together we can light up the world in remembrance of those who lit up ours 💜
