AIOBCSA represented OBC issues to Bhupendra Yadav and demanded to solve them

G. Kiran Kumar, National President of All India OBC Students Association (AIOBCSA) and Jajula Naresh Yadav National Coordinator, have met Union Minister Shri. Bhupendra Yadav ji and highlighted various issues faced by OBC students. They also requested the minister to constitute National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) immediately. The OBC issues include the strict implementation of 27% OBC reservation in the All India Quota of National Law Universities and State Agricultural Universities, Increasing of the National OBC fellowships from 1000 to 5000 slots, 27% OBC reservation should be fully implemented both in recruitment and admissions in central higher educational institutions. They put forward the need for research based OBC Centres on various social, educational, economic and political problems of the community.

They appealed that that the problems of OBCs should be taken to the attention of the Prime Minister and the Union Education Minister and resolved immediately.

The association stressed the need for the appointment of the Chairman, Vice Chairman and members of the National Commission for Backward Classes for addressing individual and general issues of OBCs. The AIOBCSA team invited the minister to participate as Chief Guest in the OBC Intellectual Meeting in Delhi.

We request students and research scholars to meet at the Telangana/AP Bhavan at 10.30 am on 20th October 2022.
