The beauty of fluid art is that every piece of artwork is different and that means it really is original. No piece of artwork is ever the same.

Sizes vary but are all created using high quality acrylic paints and mediums. All artwork is created on quality gallery wrapped canvas unless otherwise stated

Today I’m messing around with frames and mounts to put some of my printed artwork in. What do you think? Better with mounts?

Photos from Caroline Jay Pouring Art's post 17/06/2021

Hello there, a little bit of market research.
I've been thinking recently about printing and framing some of my artwork so I've done a little test here to get some feedback.

These are quality 10x8 prints, some of the colours have been manipulated to add interest from the original canvas artwork.

Do you think prints like this would sell?
Should there be an option to just buy the print then add on a frame and mount?
Art is such a personal thing so your feedback is very welcome

Many thanks
Caroline

My latest commission - a 100x60cm chaos pour - my customer is delighted but before it goes off to its new home I'd like to name it - can you help me please?

19/05/2021

I am so proud of this commission, 100x60cm. She likes the chaos pour style and wanted lots of bright colours, mainly deep pinks and purples. It'll be going off to its new home at the end of the week - what shall we call it?

The light never does this piece of art justice. All my favorite colours
River of Dreams - 30x60cm deep canvas - Turquoise, Iridescent Blue/Black and Copper - £75

I love trying something new. I'm going to be doing a series of colour gradient paintings, mounted and framed - it's not as simple as it looks - loving the effect though.

In the absence of seeing friends and family over the Christmas period I decided to continue to be creative in the hope that sometime this year they'll be an outlet to sell my artwork at an actual craft fair or gallery - remember the time when we could casually browse together? those days will come, I'm sure of it.

In the meantime please do take a look at my page and contact me if there is anything you'd like to view/buy or even request your own personal commission.

All of my artwork is created using quality acrylic paints and finished with a gloss or satin varnish to allow the colours to 'pop'. When these babies have finished curing, they'll be give a satin varnish and will be ready to sell.

Happy New Year!

Well those didn’t quite come out as planned but I actually am loving this look! What do you think?

Photos from Caroline Jay Pouring Art's post 21/12/2020

Well my Turquoise River and Burgundy Rose seem to be drying nicely - The are probably all my favorite colours in 2 pieces or artwork! Loving the variants of Teal, Bronze, Gold and Burgundy. In a couple of weeks I'll be able to give them a couple of layers of satin varnish to enable the colours to really 'pop' then they're good to go!

If you would like a bespoke piece of original artwork for yourself or as a gift please message me.

Happy Christmas everyone! May all your dreams come true.

A Little Bit About Me

From a very young age, creativity has always been important to me and expressed through abstract painting and my passion for cooking.

As an adult, Corporate Life got in the way of my painting passion but life has now taken a different turn, allowing me to take a step back and focus on what I love most.

I see my fluid art as a part of my personality, no picture is the same and you will see something different each time you view it – kind of like changing your art without changing it.

I hope you enjoy viewing my artwork – can’t find anything you like? Please get in touch as I am also available to do commission work.
